AN: Hello, my name is Becca *Hi Becca* thanks. So this is my first story for Tangled. I loved the movie ever since I saw it the day after Christmas in theater. I now have the movie and just finished watching it.

Water
All of a sudden the dam split in two, releasing the water behind the long wooden wall. Rapunzel ran as fast as she could to escape it, but her hair started to slow her down. While picking up her golden tresses, Flynn caught up to her and was grabbing the last of her hair off the ground. The two ran to the small cave that wasn't that far from them, maybe a few yards or so.
Rapunzel heard a loud crack and looked behind her. What she saw scared her even more that the water. A large boulder that they had just passed started to tip over due to the water. 'So, She thought, this is how it all ends. Either the water will catch up to us and we'll drown, or the boulder will fall on us and we'll be squished like bugs. Great.'
They were coming closer to the cave, and closer, and closer. They made it into the cave before the boulder fell down, covering the entrance. Soon water started gushing in. Within minutes the water was up above their waists. Flynn kept diving into the water a came back up several times. Then he started climbing to the top, looking for a way out. He suddenly jumped down from the top, giving up the climb. In a last effort attempt at them being saved, Rapunzel dove into the dark water. Not even a second had passed when she was pulled up to the now smaller surface.
"Hey, don't try that, its pitch black down there." Flynn warned her. Rapunzel suddenly felt all of her energy leave as she realized that there was no way out of this cave. She gently set her head on the side of the rocky wall and cried silently.
"I'm so sorry Flynn." She said between her crying.
"Eugene." She heard him say, or at least she thought he said that. Why he would say that she had absolutely no idea.
"What?" she asked, looking up at him through her teary eyes.
"My name's Eugene. I thought that someone should know." He confessed, smiling as if he had lifted the largest burden off his chest.
She might as well give it a shot, "I have magic hair that glows when I sing." At this his smile faded into a look of shock.
"What?" he asked her in complete shock.
"I have magic hair that glows when I sing." She repeated, finding a solution to their current situation. "Flower, gleam and glow," before she could finish the enchantment, the rest of her head was engulfed in the water. A second later her hair gave off the familiar glow. Flynn – no Eugene – looked at her in even more shock, if that was possible. He followed her hair until he saw some of it moving towards a patch of rocks in a nearby wall.
Eugene swam to the source of the current and started to move rocks. Rapunzel helped him with that. Before long the rocks fell and they fell through the opening and into the river.
"We're saved!" Rapunzel said after she pulled herself from the river.
"Her hair glows when she sings."
