-Authors Notes-
Yeah, when I said I would only be doing Nameless…I lied, BUT! This fic is a oneshot that takes place in the future of Nameless, it's just a little story of how Lest gave little Lucina her first sword. It was inspired by listening to a song in the Awakening soundtrack, and seeing a certain picture of Robin and little Lucina.

I walked through the corridors of the Ylissean palace, it had been 7 years since I had killed Grima, and 5 years since I returned. I was searching for a certain princess, a blue haired princess that saved me and my best friend Chroms' life on many occasions. Well, a future version of her. Hallway after hallway passed me by, until I finally got to the training room where Lucina spent her time, trying to lift up one of the heavy swords, as if to prove her strength.

She noticed me and instantly dropped the hefty Armorslayer she was trying to lift and then looked away, trying to play it off as if it had never happened, and she was surprisingly good at doing things like that. But I had seen it and I would not forget it.

"A-ah, uncle Lest! I was just trying t-" I cut her off by putting my right index finger to her mouth, as if to shush her.

"I know, I won't tell Chrom, or Sully, or Stahl, or Frederick, or Sumia, or Cordelia that you did this, they would get mad at me and you." I smiled at her, and she smiled back, I withdrew my hand from her and took out the rapier that I had been holding, a slim blade that could be used for thrusting as well as slicing. I placed it in her hands and smiled again.

"Uncle Lest?" she asked, as I placed the somewhat heavy, yet still light rapier in her small hands, I crouched, so that we could see eye-to-eye.

"This is yours now, Lucina. This is the same rapier your father sometimes used when he fought." I informed her, and ruffled her hair affectionately and playfully. "Use it for your training, it should be easy to wield, even for you." I got back up and watched as she slowly and clumsily drew the rapier from its' sheath.

Almost immediately, she began to swing it around as if she had many years of training already, she was still the same Lucina that saved us all those years ago. Well, to be honest she had the same skill as the Lucina that saved us. Even though the blade was long for her she still treated it as a regular sword, and was using it easily. I stepped back and watched as she finally was able to use a weapon, why the thought of using a rapier never crossed her mind, I will never know.

I left the training ground after that, and Morgan instantly hugged me.

"Father! I got some books on tactics earlier today! C'mon! Let's read them!" Morgan said, still as optimistic and obsessive over me as always. I smiled.

"Yeah, let's go check those books out." I held Morgans hand as she took me to her room, and we spent the rest of the night reading about past heroes and their tactical exploits, to Marths victory over the Earth Dragons, to Eirika and Ephraims victory over the possessed Lyon.

All was at peace in Ylisse and Ylisstol, I truly hoped it would never end, and, it never did end.

The days of me and Morgan viewing tactics.

The days me and Chrom spent in the tavern, persuaded by Priam to 'live a little!' and 'drink!', and completely drunk.

And the cheerful days of Lucinas' training and Chrom asking me who gave her his rapier. I simply answered with one sentence.

"I have no idea where she got it, must've been a dream come true, eh?"
