Rojo meets Terios.
Although he wore boots, when he landed on the metal floor, they made no sound. Cockily, he smirked and clutched the bouquet of roses in his hand tighter.
"I just hope this little plan pays off." He mumbled to himself. As he turned he came face to face with Dr. Ivy Robotnick. The large woman stared down at him and her face creased severely as she smiled at him.
"Rojo!" She grinned. "I wasn't expecting you so soon!" Rojo grinned and walked around her.
"You know me, sweetness. Don't wanna' be away from you longer than I have to." The female scientist giggled behind his back before coughing and recomposing herself.
"Anyway, Doctor." Rojo said, turning back to face the now blushing woman. "I have a little gift for you." He dug his gloved hand into the roses and pulled it out moments later, clutching a blue chaos emerald.
"A-A Chaos Emerald!" The woman gasped as she reached out the grab it.
"Eh-Eh-Eh!" Rojo frowned, pulling it behind him and out of her reach. "It's all your, Ives if you agree to my conditions, that is." Scowling, Ivy folded her arms and scowled.
"Which are?" Her patience growing thin, especially now that she could see the emerald.
"Very simple, sweet cheeks. Be a good girl, play fair and the rest are yours. Deal?" The bat's attention drifted to his right as he suddenly noticed the female hedgehog in the room with them. She was already staring at him when he looked. But quickly, she looked away.
"That depends what you want?" Ivy's question brought him back to the matters at hand.
"Just to spend as much time with you as possible." He gave her a wink. Desperate to move onto something. "Anyway, who's this pretty little lady?" He turned back to the hedgehog. "I'm Rojo. Rojo the Bat? You got a name?" The 'pretty little lady' turned to face him. Her fierce red eyes bore into his slightly feminine blue ones.
"I'm Terios. Terios the hedgehog."
