Chapter 1
PoV: Kar
Everyone at my school talks about "The World". They say that it is the best RPG they've ever played. It really annoys me that everyone talks about it and I've never tried it. My girlfriend Chi plays "The World" and always nags me about it. Today I decide to go to the store and pick up a copy of it. I invite Chi to the store and she comes with me. Chi and I have been dating for six months now. When I get home I insert the disc into the holder and close it. A screen comes up and it has a big title on top "THE WORLD". There are two options sign up and log in. I click sign up and I am brought to a different screen. My characters name is Shin and she is a wavemaster. She has dark brown hair and blue eyes just like me. She has a thin figure that matches mine. As soon as I click done I am brought to a screen with multiple worlds. I choose to go to world seven. I send a message to Chi asking where she is. Chi's name in the game is Chiran. She responds with "In world seven by the entrance to the forest".
"I'll meet you there!" I respond.
"Okey Dokey, see you soon!" Chi says.
I walk over to the forest and soon see Chi waving to me. I run over and hug her. Chi leads me into a forest that has an ominous feeling to it.
"Follow me and you won't get lost" Chi says.
"Ok, where are we going?"
"We're going to battle some enemies so we can gain experience and gold!"
"Sounds dangerous, what kind of enemies?"
"It's not dangerous I've done it several times, we'll probably find some goblins"
"Whatever you say"
She leads me to a small cavern where I find small goblins wreaking havoc. I strike the goblins but they evade my attack. I see Chi take out a blade and strike a goblin. The goblin falls to the floor and gold pops out. Chi hands me the gold.
"You need it." Chi says
"Thanks, I think I'm going to log off and get some rest"
"Ok, see you tomorrow!"
"Bye!"
When I log off I realize its 1:30am. I fall asleep while thinking about "The World".
