"Why did you leave in the first place?" He asks, confused. "I mean, you had everything. Weiss, two kids, and even Beacon Academy. You were set, then your sister died and you disappeared."

"And I wont be coming back either. That's why I am sending you too Weiss. I wont be able to give her the things she needs. I am sorry, and i know you still have a thing for her. Just go."

"But Ruby-" I didn't stay to hear what he had to say. I just left, rose petals trailing behind me.

I watched as Neptune went up to the house I used to call home. I went to the back window and saw that Weiss was up sitting in her bed, crying my name again. "No no no, she cant still love me. I left, Why does she love me?"

It doesn't matter anymore. Neptune will make her happy. I hope. I watch Weiss's head pop up, tear streaks down her face as someone knocks on the door. My main concern is that she may remember the note I left her when I left. The one that said I would be back...

I leap too the roof of my former home, and walk to the other end so as to hear Weiss accepting Neptune. But I am surprised at what I hear.

"What do you want Neptune?" Weiss asks, clearly very unhappy. You can hear the tears in her voice.

"look, I was sent to you. I was supposed to be your replacement for Ruby. I just want to say that-"

"You?! Replace the love of my life? Hah!" She shouts, obviously displeased.

Ddon't bring me up Nep!" "Look, Ruby sent me okay? Otherwise I wouldn't be here. You know what? Fuck it, I tried." He says as he storms off.

"Wait! What was that about Ruby?" She shouts after him but its no use, he's long out of earshot.

"Am I sure that this is something I want to do? Ah, don't question it, if you go back on this now you will have no further purpose. Your already worthless." I look at the bottomless void that stretches out beyond what my eyes can see.

"You deserve it, you are an awful mother, a terrible wife and you deserted your sister. You could have saved her, you could have killed Salem sooner. You are nothing." "RUBY!" I hear a voice shout behind me.

I turn and notice Weiss running toward me. "Do it now. Before she stops you." While looking at Weiss I spread my arms wide. She starts to take a step forward thinking that I am reaching for a hug.

"I am sorry Weiss. I love you." With that I lean backwards and let gravity take my body on a fall I could never recover from.
