The Ember Island players was a terrible show to Aang. Not only because it made fun of him, saying he will be defeated by the Fire Lord. Mostly it was complicating a relationship he wants to have with a certain waterbender, Katara.
They talked in the balcony during the play and Katara told him that she is confused about them being together. Aang made it worse by kissing her even though she just said that. When you see some one leaving the area away from you, it slowly crumbles the heart into an endless abyss that cannot find its way back up. That is what happened to Aang and it was only going to get worse if he was around her.
After the Gaang came back into the house that they were hiding in. Aang decided to go on a walk to figure out how to stop this pain in his heart.
He kept thinking about things that happened throughout there journey, but all of those memories turned to Katara. Wanting to be with her like the invisible rope that intertwines with their souls, being as one.
Then Aang learned a song that the monks taught him. Whenever he felt down the monks would tell him to sing this song in order to find peace within yourself.
So Aang begins to sing
He takes in some air. The feeling is still there, the same sorrow thats in his heart. So he continues to sing, hopefully getting rid of this burden.
Aang was still having the burden of sadness. It was really starting to get worse. Then he saw someone hiding in the trees and he prepared his attack stand. It was until the figure came out from hiding.
It was Katara who was watching him singing the song that was a tridition in all 4 nations. Until the war broke out, then it became accient history. But she does remember the song too.
They came up closer together and looked into each others eyes.
When Aang looked at her eyes. They sparkled like a smooth ocean that is welcoming the air with kindness.
When Katara looked at his eyes. They looked like a humble wind that offers its help to the water with its push and pull.
They came in closer and the with a passion kissed till there hearts content, which is impossible with love. For it lasts for more then an eternity. After they broke it Aang said "I love you Katara".
Katara was not confused anymore. She finally knew that her heart will always be with Aang. "I love you too Aang". She said.
They continued to sing.
Aang's sorrow is finally lifted, not because of the song. Its because he finally knew that Katara liked him more then just a friend, best friend, and brother. No, it was beyond a crush. It was pure love that has filled his heart with happenes.
They kissed one more time and walked back to the house. Holding hands along the way.
When they got there the moon had turned to a blue color. Knowing Yue, she must of done this for a special occasion for the young couple.
As Katara and Aang got inside. Katara asked "Aang can you sleep in my room tonight?" Her answer was a passionate kiss. She blushed and they got inside Katara's room.
When they got in the covers, they cuddled underneath the blankets. Knowing that they were under the reflection of the Blue Moon.
So there you have it. I got the idea when I was playing on Fallout New Vegas. The version I recommend is this one " Radio New Vegas-Blue Moon.
