Chapter 1

It was a sun dried day as Serenity landed on Tyon.

"So captain, are you so sure you want to trade with her? Last time we didn't levee on the best of terms" said Zoe as she walked off the bridge with the captain Malcolm Reynolds

"Zoe, last time was not so bad" he answed

"Sir she shot you, twice" she shouted

Looking disgruntled Mal walked off out of the old Firefly. They walked for a while to a good spot to bury the cargo.

"This is a good spot anit it?" asked Mal

Zoe was looking around like there was something in the trees but in the end spoke

"yer lets bury it and go see Harland"

Zoe and Mal dug a hole and pushed the cargo into it and filled it back up setting off the see Harland.

Meanwhile back on Serenity Jayne and Shepard Book were weight lifting in the cargo bay.

"Come on preacher" joked Jayne

The Shepard was trying to lift a lot of weights and was having a lot of trouble in doing so.

"Jayne you may be able to lift this but my strength is in sprit" said the Preacher as Jayne lifted the weight up on to the holder, the old man sat up exhausted from the bench pressing.

"Come on preacher give me a hand" said Jayne as he sat on the bench to work out

"Ok" panted the Shepard

Jayne was pressing the weight Shepard Book was with no ease; suddenly the Cargo bay door opened and the Mule came with a half dead Zoe and Mal in the back

"Holy shit" shouted Jayne pulling his weapon running to the mule

The Shepard ran up the stairs to find Simon.

"O my god what happened" asked Jayne

But Mal and Zoe were both unconscious bleeding deeply, Simon ran down the stairs and to the mule.

"What happened?" asked Simon

"How the hell should I know?" Said Jayne

The Simon, Jayne and Shepard Book carried them up the to the infirmary dripping blood on the floor as they went.

"Put Zoe on the table" ordered Simon

Zoe was very low on blood and had three bullet wounds to her chest and legs; the captain was no better four in the back and legs.

"O my god this is bad can every one levee please so I can" tried to explain Simon

"I believe I can help" said Shepard

"Thank you, lets get to work" thanked Simon

Jayne, Wash, Kaley and River were all watching outside hopefully. Wash was the worst as his wife was been shot and may die. Three hours later Simon came out coved in blood.

"There done they should both live and we can talk to them in a few hours" explained the Doctor

Wash let out the greatest sigh at the news that they were going to pull through.

"Doc you're the best" said Wash as he hugged Simon tight

Over the next few hours the crew stayed in the mess area thinking only on Mel and Zoe.
