*Oogie's POV*
I hate it when he cries. It makes me feel like a bad boyfriend. I just want to beat up the towns people. Why can't they accept us? Ever since the curse I have been different but only Jack saw it.
"Jack. I'll never let you go. Never in a million years."
"I know." He said, throwing me a sad smile.
This town was just killing him. And me along with him.
It was getting dark out and I needed to go home.
"Please. Oogie, don't leave me here all alone." Jack begged.
"Jack you know I have to go. I'm not supposed to be here."
I hope he'll be ok without me. They won't attack the pumpkin king directly. They'd go after me first.
"Just go to sleep, my pumpkin king. The moon is coming out. I promise you'll be ok, nobody will hurt you. I'll see you in the morning." I whispered. I kissed him and began the walk home. I hid in every shadow till I got to the grave yard. Then I ran back to my mansion.
*Jack's POV*
I woke up to the smell of fire. I looked out the window by my bed and of in the distance was a fire. Right where I knew Oogie's mansion was. I started to panic. What if Oogie was still in there? I heard the front door open and close and footsteps on the stairs. Suddenly the love of my life walked through my bedroom door. I sighed in relief.
He walked over to my bed and laid down next to me. We heard the shouts of the town's people and I heard a knock on my door. I got out of bed slowly and walked downstairs to the door. I opened it and saw the mayor.
"Hello mayor. What brings you here at this hour?"
"Hi Jack. We know you have Oogie Boogie in there."
"So?"
"Jack he's no good for you. He'll brea-"
"No. You guys will break me. Goodnight." I said slamming the door.
"Goodbye Jack."
I ran upstairs to Oogie and hugged him.
"They're gonna kill us both." Oogie said.
"Then at least we will die together."
They both laid on the bed and held each other in their last moments.
"I love you, Oogie."
"I love you too, Jack."
