The Greatest Decision

A brief insight as to what goes on inside of a trainer's mind right before he is about to receive his first starter pokemon. He thinks deeply about what makes each starter special and the reasons why he should pick it.

Charmander,

Squirtle,

Or Bulbasuar.

Each had their unique and special qualities. The new trainer who was walking to the professor's house was going over the pros and cons of each decision.

"Hmm…I could go with Charmander, the fire type, and end up with a cool looking dragon. Or I could choose Squirtle and have an incredible turtle with water cannons on its back. Or I could pick Bulbasuar but, meh, not really into plants."

"I shouldn't just think about how they look, I should also think about their qualities in battle. Let's see, if I remember correctly, Charmander is a special attacker with good speed and attack as well. However, Squirtle is very defensive and can take hits really well. As for Bulbasuar, I don't really remember much about it. Maybe I should've looked more into that pokemon. Meh, oh well, there's always next time."

"Oh, there's also the newly discovered mega evolutions that each starter's final stage can evolve into. Charizard has two mega evolutions. That would make for some good versatility. One makes its special attack much higher and powers up its fire type moves while the other boosts its attack and gives it more resistances. Blastoise's mega give it much more fire power, or should I say water power, and greatly increases its special attack. As for Venasuar…did Venasuar have a mega evolution? If one starter had two and one starter only had one than maybe Venasuar has 0. Oh I don't know.

"Wow! I'm already at the professor's place. I should really make my decision quickly!
