"Come with me. And we can die together"

Now normal people would have laughed and asked if he was joking or just walked out. But they were far from normal. Normality escaped them so long ago neither of them could remember anymore what normal even felt like.

"Come with me. And we can die in each others arms"

Most people by now would turn away, making sure that they didn't catch your eye again. Most people were so boringly, painfully normal that they wouldn't be able to understand that these were words of love.

"You really mean that?"

Normal people wouldn't be able to understand them, wouldn't be able to understand their logic, their feelings. They were unwelcome in everyone's version of normal.

And they didn't care.

Normal for them was a spray of bullets, bloody kisses and echoes of screams. Normal was laughing as they ran from another blood spattered store, money in one hand, a gun in the other and the biggest, bloodiest grin on their faces. Normal was a day by day whirl of chaos, blood, love and laughter. Normal was a quest to find the perfect place to die together.

"I would never ask anyone else"

Snow was falling in the desert the day they found the place. A beautifully barren, desolate place with no life anywhere. Thick gray clouds loomed above them as they danced together on the cold, snow spattered ground, wide manic grins on their faces and guns in their hands.

"Promise to not let me go?"

Faster and faster until they both felt dizzy, but they didn't stop. They just started laughing as they clung to each other tightly until there was no telling where one of the ended and the other began. And they went faster and faster, raising their guns to each others heads until-

"I promise"

Two loud bangs echoed in the beautifully desolate and barren desert, followed by a solid thud. White and gold hair became stained with a halo of red and their bloody smiles echoed one another. Unseeing amethyst eyes stared into eyes the colour of dried blood and for once, they were happy.

And it was a testament of how much they loved each other when they wouldn't let go of each other even in death.
