William the fourth; the Sixth

Caleb opened the letter. It had come that afternoon. It had no return address and the only thing written on the envelope was his name. 'Meaning that someone had to drop it off' he thought to himself, 'I need to remember to ask the guards who it was.' He wasn't sure if he should open it, but considering who he was he figured he could fix anything bad that happened. He slit the seal and a note and two glossy 8 by 6 photos fell out into his lap.

The note was written in a swirling, loopy script he recognized but couldn't place;

Watch him.

Teach him.

Protect him.

The pictures were of two young men, one of whom was circled in red. He was tall, with black hair and eyes so dark you couldn't tell where his pupils ended and his irises began. His clothing matched his dark complexion and he was wearing a small vial around his neck. The vial appeared to contain blood. His companion was a few inches shorter then him, with blonde hair and green eyes. The next picture was of the same two young men, but the black in the one boy's eyes had expanded, overtaking the whites. Caleb, in his surprised, dropped the pictures and the note. Then he dived for the phone.
