Onto the story:

Danny really should know by now that he was cursed, when the world first found out about his powers, he was constantly bombarded by his "parents" and the GIW about his condition, He was poked and prodded until Danny finally couldn't take it. He left and moved into his own place, and after dating Sam for almost a year she broke up with him to give "Elliot" a chance. Danny couldn't really blame her, they loved each other but that affection became more like a sibling love than a romantic one. He never did have the time to take Sam out, and when he did, they were interrupted by another ghost attack. The press didn't help matters either. After about the eighth time a kiss became front page news, they started going out less and less. Finally after a year they broke up. On 'international Phantom day' they decided to end it publicly so they could finally get some peace.

It didn't work. After the press conference with Tuck, Both Danny and Sam were flooded with dating requests, much to Tuckers ire. Danny just shut the door on all of them, Sam however, was surprised by Elliot, the kid moved back to Amity about a month after the PP incident. He started to open up a little more and as an apology he bought Tucker the newest PDA. After a year they were all pretty good friends, when the break-up happened he gave Sam a new Venus fly trap and asked her out. Danny was iffy about them at first but after he saw how Elliot cared about her he finally gave his permission. (Not that Sam needed it, she could just kick Danny with her boots if he didn't like her choices.) And finally the trio thought that their luck was changing.

Now we are back to Danny being cursed. Seriously, it is incredibly rare when a portal opens in the human zone and even more rare that it leads to anything but the ghost zone. Danny was in his lab and had just sent Skulker back into the ghost zone when a bright light flashed behind him. Knowing that most of the weapons still locked on him Danny quickly turned to his human form so the invention wouldn't hurt him too bad. When the glowing didn't stop he turned and took a step forward to see if he could turn off the run away instrument. He felt a breeze on his face and he realized he was suddenly outside. Danny turned back quickly enough to see a small portal close and wink out of existence.

Of course. Sighing a little at his continued bad luck he decided to look around. It looked like he was on a bridge that he didn't recognize, It had tall structures that held thick copper cables that held the bridge together. It was pretty early in the day and the sun was glinting off the car that was flying at him….. Before his mind even caught up to the thought, his reflexes saved him from being crushed beneath the flying vehicle. His reflexes saved him again and again as he dodged two more flying vehicles, one of which had mirrors that stretched a little too far and caught on the front of Danny's shirt, ripping it beyond repair. Dang it! Its not like he really needed it, he was a guy after all, but he liked that shirt!

A deep, and annoying voice suddenly broke through the symphony of falling cars "Finally! I was wondering what a guy had to do to get attention around here!" When Danny turned he saw a blue man that looked to be made of ice laugh up at two figures at the top of one of the bridge structures. Ice guy spread more icy destruction around as he laughed and dodged arrows headed toward him, one of which pierced his shoulder and exploded, breaking the hard ice around him.

'This guy threw a car at me for attention?' Danny thought, A little angry, but since the ice-man wasn't a ghost he decided to let it go. It was dangerous to head into a fight without knowing what the enemy could do. Ice guy started to shoot shards of ice at the two figures at the top of the structure and the two ran down a cable as they shot arrows at the ice-man's barrier, which he created in the nick of time. It turned out that they were explosive arrows because as soon as they made contact they exploded creating a hole. Before the ice-man could even react to his broken barrier, the red figure shot an arrow through the hole. It had a boxing glove on the end and was aimed expertly at the ice guys jaw, promptly knocking the villain out.

When the two figures landed on the bridge the green figure started laughing. "Well, would you look at that? The kid had a glass jaw!" Danny could appreciate puns, it came with being a superhero, so it was no surprise when Danny couldn't help but start giggling. It sounded higher than usual but he didn't notice. When he turned his head back to the two figures he noticed the two staring at him. The shorter red one was blushing and trying to look away, but ultimately failing. Danny stopped laughing abruptly.

"Uh, miss? You should cover up" the green one said as he approached him. 'huh?' Danny thought thanks to his super hearing he only heard 4 heartbeats, (him, red, green and the ice-guy) and realized that Green could only mean him. Slowly Danny looked down. Well, he didn't have those before…..he…she…. had breasts, granted not too big but not to small that he…SHE…. Looked childish. Doing the first thing that came to his mind Danny covered himself with his arms and sank down in his knees to cover him-HERself fully, a small squeak escaped her mouth as her cheeks burned a vibrant red. Danny didnt even pay attention to the footsteps coming near him, she was so embarrassed.

Before it could get even more awkward a green vest was pulled over her head. She looked up and saw that the green man now only had a green hoodie on. "Come on, I think there will be an extra shirt at the hall" he said. The man was kind as he picked Danny up princess style, another squeak escaped before Danny could stop it. A deep chuckle came from the man as he and Red started running toward the town, passing cop cars that pulled up to collect the villain.

Where ever they were going it took 10 minutes of straight running to get there, Green put her down and she pulled the vest tighter around her frame. It looked almost like a dress on her than a shirt. Soon they were joined by two other adults and teenagers. One man was blond and had an orange shirt that clashed slightly with his black and green fin-like pants. the teen was dressed in a red shirt and similar pants.

"Green arrow," the man greeted "who's the girl" Danny just shrunk a little into herself, its not like he asked to be a girl! In fact, he was a boy! Stupid portal! ... But at least he now new green's name. uh Green Arrow's hero name? The other man that joined them, was tall and well-built with a gray body suit and black cowl that had ridges cut into the bottom, he wore a mask that came to two points at the top of his head. With a black bat emblazoned on his chest. The two teens were younger than Red (red arrow?) the one nearest the blond man was African American looking with stormy green/blue eyes and black tattoos up his arms. And the other was about the same age as Danny (a/n: my story, Danny is 15) a little taller than him….her (she was getting tired of that) with a red shirt. Black cape and domino mask covering his eyes.

"Hello Aquaman, Batman. This girl lost her shirt when Speedy and I were fighting Junior, I thought we might have some extra at the hall." The other man, Batman glared at Danny a bit before grunting and turning away. Danny nearly jumped out of her skin when the caped teen stood in front of her, she hadn't even heard him move. His black hair was a little wild and he had a mischievous smirk on his face. Danny took a step back before the teen said "Hi, I am Robin, you have pretty blue eyes". Once again Danny's cheeks flushed.

"thanks" she said quietly, it was only then that she realized how soft and high her voice was. (all that puberty, only for a stupid portal to take it away!) The other teen walked forward. "Hello, I am Aqualad" he said as he held his hand out to shake. Taking his hand Danny muttered "Danny" before trying to retreat behind Green Arrow so he wouldn't be the center of attention anymore.

All that time in front of people after PP made Danny self-conscious and he/she wanted to just hide away. "SEE! I knew we would be the last ones!" A red and yellow blur slowed to a stop in front of the group. Both newcomers were dressed in spandex and had masks covering their faces. The only difference was that the smaller teen had red hair and goggles on his head, that and he was almost blindingly yellow.

The group turned and headed to a building almost lined with people and cameras, Danny stepped closer to Green Arrow hoping that no one would notice her. As reporters yelled out questions Green Arrow leaned over to Red- no…. Speedy? And asked a question. To which Speedy smiled and replied confidently. Aqualad said that he was glad that they were all there and yellow-boy (what, he never said his name!) asked if all four sidekicks had ever been in the same place at once.

'Sidekicks?' Danny thought before she was startled out of her thoughts by Speedy yelling something to yellow boy.

The reporters asked about her and tried to swarm around her to get the latest scoop when she heard yellow boy apologize "I'm a little overwhelmed" he said. Robin looked over and said "Your overwhelmed, Freeze was underwhelmed, why isn't anyone ever just whelmed?" before they all entered the building and saw 7 giant statues standing over a door way.

"Maybe that's why." Danny whispered. They were greeted at the Authorized Personnel door by a red robot with a yellow Arrow down his forehead and a green man with red eyes. Danny's ghost sense didn't go off so she just assumed that it was a costume.

"welcome Robin, Speedy, Aqualad, Kid Flash" so yellow-boy was Kid Flash? Danny followed after not really listening to what the green man was saying and when they entered a lavish siting area, she was finally given a shirt that had a low V-shaped neck line and stopped just before her belly button. What is the point of this shirt? It had some weird shield mark with an S on the front that was red and yellow too. Was everything here red and yellow? Danny walked off to the side and hid behind a corridor, checking to make sure no one would see she quickly changed into the shirt and folded the vest before walking back into the common room.

Almost being bowled over by an angry speedy. Danny walked in to see that all eyes were on her again and she immediately hid behind the vest in her hands. Luckily the screen behind the group lit up and a man baring the same shield on his chest that she did spoke.

"Superman to justice league, there has been an explosion at project Cadmus. Its on fire." Batman walked over and said something about it being the perfect opportunity to investigate when he was interrupted by another screen of a man with a thick accent saying something about blotting out the sun."

Superman said it was only a small fire and signed off before Batman pressed a button and said to have the league members meet at some coordinates. Before they left they told the 'sidekicks' to stay in the common room. When the adults left Danny barely had time to blink before yellow-bo- Kid Flash was standing in front of her.

"Hey gorgeous, how about you and me grab a quick bite to eat?" doing some weird eyebrow wiggle. Oh god, was this how girls saw guys flirt with them? No wonder they thought all boys were stupid! Instead of saying anything Danny just backed up slightly and shook her head no. Kid Flash was going to continue before Aqualad asked "what is project Cadmus?"

"Dunno" Robin said "but I can find out" with a smirk he headed over to the computer and started typing "Access denied" the computer said Danny heard Robin mutter a quick "oh yeah?" before he started to pull up a screen with numbers all over it. When he finally cracked it there was very little to be said about it. "but if Batman is suspicious, maybe we should investigate?" the three boys gathered together and began to plot how they would solve their mentor's case before them. Something about poetic justice, before they all turned and ran out of the room. Leaving Danny alone, like hell he/she….WHATEVER! was going to be left out of this, project Cadmus might be his ticket home. So Danny ran after the boys. When she got there she saw Kid Flash run up a building to catch two falling scientists before he slipped at the roof, placing them down and catching the second floor window.

Laughter echoed as Robin used his grappling hook to swing into the open window pulling KF in as he did. Aqualad used water to get the scientists down and then joined the other two in the window. Now Danny was just guessing but he assumed that he should follow them. Walking into the ally next to the building, she used intangibility and invisibility to join them on the second floor, they were looking at the computers when she said "You know, it was kind of rude to leave me there!" All three jumped before they say her. "how-?" before the question could be voiced a ding of the elevator sounded and Aqualad saw something headed down. "aren't elevators supposed to be stopped" Danny asked

Robin wondered closer to check it out "that's an express elevator. It doesn't belong in a two-story building." Bringing up his holo computer he studied the design before Aqualad forced the doors open. "that's why they need an express elevator" Danny said as she gazed into the darkness only light up by small squarish lights that marked each floor.

Robin used his grapple to shoot the celling before he jumped into the pit and continued his descent. Aqualad got on next and slowly started to drop down into the darkness. Danny was about to go next but she was stopped but KF who said "leave this to us hero's, it wouldn't be good if you hurt yourself". Danny could feel her eyebrows twitch. "if I see any hero's I will let them know" she said before she pushed her way to the cord and started her own descent. KF reluctantly started after her.

At Sublevel 26 she met back up with the other two sidekicks who offered to help her over to the edge. Rolling her eyes she jumped and landed on the edge perfectly. Danny was getting sick of being treated weak and helpless. Robin did his thing and soon they opened the elevator doors. KF rushed inside and almost immediately slipped. It was sheer dumb luck that he wasn't crushed by the elephant like trolls roaming that halls.

"yeah, nothing wrong here" Danny said sarcasm dripping from her voice. They wandered down the hall and came to a room that was filled with insect like creatures the size of dogs. "pokemon anyone?" Danny muttered. "This is why Cadmus is off the grid! They generate their own electricity. That must be what they are bred for." Kid Flash said.

"Even the name is a clue, the Cadmus of old created new life by sewing dragons teeth into the earth."

"And this Cadmus creates new life too, lets find out why" he took his computer and hooked it up to the podium that looked to control things "they are called genomorphs, and that's not all, look at the stats on these guys, they are living, breathing weapons." Danny flinched, remembering the GIW saying that after the really, really painful experiments they would turn him into a weapon for the government. It was thanks to his fans that he escaped that fate.

"WHO GOES THERE!?"

Robin was muttering to himself and Danny tried to get closer "what's project Kr?" he mumbled before he started to download the files into his system, blushing slightly when Danny stood and watched over his shoulder. The man who ran into the room had a golden helmet on, his eye glowed slightly red before he seemed to recognize the sidekicks. "what?" bucket head looked surprised before the red flared up and he shouted "Take them down!"

"what is guardian doing this?" Aqualad said as he dodged the razor claws of a genomorph that jumped at him. Danny dodged too, though no one was really paying attention to her. Suddenly a smoke bomb went off and every made their escape, they regrouped at the elevator that Robin was trying to hack. It finally opened when the flood of g-nomes rounded the corner, just barely closing before they could attack them.

With adrenaline pumping their systems no one really paid attention to the song in the elevator before Aqualad realized they were going down. "why are we headed down, out is up!" Kid Flash yelled. "I know, but they have something even more dangerous call project Kr and its on sub-level 52"

"and why are we going to check it out? We barely got away from the other things attacking us." Danny said. The three turned to face her, why did she come again? Oh, yeah she had to see if they had a way to get her home. "don't take this the wrong way, but why are you here?" Aqualad voiced the question. He seemed to fidget with his arms as he looked away from her.

Feeling a draft she looked down, only to growl, "Really? Twice in one day? They didn't even try to go after me, what the hell?" her shirt was once again ripped this time down the front, it still held but it showed even more of her chest than the original design. This was going to suck. She was slightly surprised when Robin handed her two safety pins to hold her shirt together, all three boys were blushing darkly.

"Thanks" Danny quickly fixed her shirt and then turned to them before saying "I'm here cause you can't stop me." Right after she said that the elevator dinged and they stepped out into a hall way that looked like the inside of a stomach.

"this is out of control, perhaps we should contact the league."

"are you kidding? We are already here might as well see what's up" Danny said as she walked out, she sensed something in the hallway in front of them so she took the path to the right.

"how do you know where your going?" Asked Robin as he caught up to her. "women's intuition" Danny said simply, they heard the noise of an elevator and picked up their pace, when they rounded a corner they say a larger circular door that was labeled 'PROJECT Kr'. Danny felt smug "and you all doubted me". The door opened and a female scientist walked out looking at a clip board. Before she even looked up the team had snuck behind her and shut and sealed the door.

"we're safe!" Robin sounded triumphantly

"we're trapped" the pessimistic voice of Aqualad said.

Neither Danny nor Kid Flash paid attention, they were too distracted by the pod in front of them. Inside it was a teen about their age that looked uncanningly like - "Superman" Kid whispered.

"Robin Hack" Aqualad said, he didn't need to Robin was already reading through the blueprints. "Code name Superboy cloned from Superman in 16 weeks, he was made to destroy Superman should he ever turn on us."

"uh guys," Danny said. The boys weren't paying attention they were huddling around the computer and talking quietly.

"guys!" Danny tried again only to be ignored. Rolling her eyes, Danny sighed 'men' she thought before she froze 'I am still a guy right? Do I count in this?' shaking her head she turned and shouted to the boys "GUYS!" they looked up shocked. "I think he's awake." Danny said calmly. Superboy was looking at them through the glass, a puzzled expression on his face. "Robin, let him out" Kid Flash said. Danny looked closer and saw three gnomorphs with glowing horns in with him. "WAIT!" but it was too late. The boy lunged at her and she quickly side stepped. Unfortunately Aqualad was behind her Superboy pushed him down before KF and Robin tried to hold him back.

They were thrown off and crashed into the wall and passed out, Aqualad was hit and thrown about until finally the passed out too. 'crap, I should have gone invisible' it was too late now because now Superboy was headed for her. He swung a fist and she held up her hand and made a shield before she could even think about it. When the fist connected it felt like one of dark Dan's punches. Her shield cracked but stayed strong for about 3 more hits before Danny let it fall and then she shot ecto blasts at him. It sent him back and crashing into the wall. Before she knew it he was back and throwing a punch at her face. Last minute she went intangible, he passed through her and turned only to get punched in the jaw that sent him crashing into the door.

When Superboy looked up Danny was gone, he turned and opened the door intent on pursuing her only to get stopped by the head scientist. He surveyed the fallen teens and turned to him "good boy" before he turned to guardian and said "get those 3 into pods now!"

Superboy was about to protest when he saw the genomorphs grab the teens and drag them off. He was curious so he followed, wobbling as he got used to walking for longer than a minute.

Danny sighed in relief as Superboy found something more interesting to do, she slowly floated down, it was hard to stay airborne in her human form but she didn't know if the light would alert others to her presence. 'I guess one good thing comes from overlooking females' she smirked as she followed down the hall pausing when the scientist took a different direction, she followed behind him quietly. He eventually entered a room with screens hanging from the ceiling.

'odd' she thought soon all the screen lit up and the scientist sent a report to the blacked out images on white backgrounds. 'cause that's not secretive at all, these people are totally trust worthy' even in her mind she was dripping sarcasm.

Halfway through the meeting the sidekicks came up. And one of the "light" they called themselves said to clone them and then kill them. Well that was enough for Danny, he needed to get them out of here now, but first, she phased out of the room and up to the upper floors of Cadmus, she found a phone and called 911 when a voice answered Danny just said "I need the justice league, please help me!" before she left the room to sink down into the lower floors.

'now if I was a scientific sociopath where would I hide my victim's?' she searched a bit before the lead scientist came back and walked down the hallway. 'might as well follow him' they arrived at a room just in time to hear "but we can show you the moon!" Kid Flash said

"no they cant! They will be otherwise occupied. You!" he said pointing at guardian "start the cloning process."

"Pass!" Robin said "batcave's crowded enough" that almost made Danny laugh, a small snort escaped her but only Superboy heard it. He turned and started for her when—

"and get the weapon back to its pod!"

"Hey! Why does he get to say it?" Kid Flash said

"help us" Aqualad said, but Superboy was forced to leave a g-gnome on his shoulder, Danny would rather have the boy on their side, and it looked like he really did want to help but he couldn't fight the telekinesis. With her hearing she hear Aqualad try to convince Superboy while they were electrocuted and had blood drawn.

Thinking quickly Danny knocked the gnome off his shoulder, breaking its concentration and freeing the clone. "you better help them" she said as she became visible again. Superboy stared at her and nodded blushing, knowing that reaction by now she looked down and saw that the pins had fallen off at some point causing her shirt to fall open again. "OH, COME ON!" Superboy turned and stormed back in to the room tossing the scientists around and breaking things.

Soon enough everyone else was out cold, Robin exclaimed in triumph and dropped to the floor, before he could say anything though Danny grabbed him "Superboy can you free the other two?" she asked sweetly "Robin, I need more pins" all the boys blushed and set to their tasks. After she got double the amount of pins from before she sent Robin to help the guys as she set to work on her shirt. Danny really needed to shop because obviously this wasn't working.

When she turned around all the boys were lined up and awkwardly shuffling around. "wait are you waiting for? Lets get out of here" She started to lead the group as Robin threw something that exploded at the pods destroying any blood or samples they might have collected. They walk through hallways until Superboy said "turn left!" they did running now that they heard pursuers "right!" they came to a dead end and KF exploded "do you want us back in pods?"

Superboy was about to apologize when Robin jumped up at knocked the grate loose, "we can go through here!" he said as one my one they all climbed in, Danny being the last. Shortly after they jumped out and Robin announced "I hacked the motion sensors, they think we are trapped by the bathroom"

They continued on until they reached Sub level one, when they rounded the corner all three boys collapsed in a groaning heap. Danny looked about bewildered. "how is it that you can avoid my mind?" a tall genomorph asked. "uh, Practice?" Danny said. He looked at her for a bit before he turned to the boys and started talking to his "brother" Superboy opened his eyes suddenly "it was you! You lead us out of there!"

At this point Danny decided to just let the boys talk, she started to look around, all of the genomorphs had gathered and were asking if Superboy would be their hero.

"I choose Freedom!" He said.

'how patriotic' Danny thought.

when another voice cut in "I think not! I don't know how that girl got in here but I will not let any of you leave here alive!"

'isnt it a good thing I am half dead then?' she thought to herself, she watched as the scientist (I really should remember his name…nah) grabbed a vial of blue liquid and drank it. Moments later he started screaming and thrashing. His skin tore away to reveal gray stone-like skin, more rocks burst from him and as the last of his skin fell from his face he attacked. Danny hadn't been seen for most of the ordeal so she thought that no one would even care about her. Imagine her surprise when the monster grabbed her and jumped through the roof.

"I swear you pull that king Kong crap on me i'm going to beat you so bad!" was the last that the team heard as she was dragged farther away. The boys looked at one another.

"well that's one way to make an exit" Robin said as he shot his grapple through the hole, leaving it so his companions could use it too.

"indeed" Aqualad said smiling as he pulled himself through the hole. Kid Flash just laughed as he struggled up, his giggles making his arms weak.

Superboy just looked confused "Whats King Kong?" he asked. "perhaps you should save her and find out." The oldest genomorph said smiling lightly. Shrugging Superboy grabbed Kid Flash and 'flew' out of the hole…. Before he started to fall.

"I cant fly?" he asked before he was interrupted by a shrill scream of fury, "I told you! Be prepared for a beating!" Danny screamed she was still in the monsters hand but it looked like it was struggling to hold on to her. Both Aqualad and Robin were standing together, dumbstruck.

"yo, Rob! What happened?" KF asked as Superboy finally landed

"it tried to kiss her, she bitch slapped it in the jaw" he said slightly dazed

They all watched amazed when Danny finally got free, she punched it in the gut and made it double over, winded before she round-house kicked it in the head, followed by a snap kick to its shins and a another punch to the face. This continued for about 5 minutes before they boys felt sorry for the monster. It fell to the ground defeated in a matter of minutes.

KF took the opportunity to point up at the night sky "see the moon!" small black dots descended towards one was easily recognizable "and there is Superman! Do we keep out promises or what?!" KF said. When the justice league landed they all looked very pissed off, Superman was frozen in place when he saw the S shield on his chest matched the one the boy across from him wore.

Before he could even say anything Batman strode forward "what you did was reckless and irresponsible, you dragged in a civilian and cause destruction where none was needed. I am very disappointed, you will not be doing this again." The boys were all cowed by the bat-glare until a voice spoke up.

"yes they will!" Danny walked up beside them and glared back at the bat. "They did good work today, they worked as a team and solved problems that not many come across. They kept to their morals and they tried to contact you when they needed help. You trained them well, let them prove it!"

To say the league was impressed was an understatement. Not even Superman could argue with the Bat-glare. Batman glare harder "what do you know about how I trail my pupil? He asked, failing to hide the growl in his voice.

Danny smirked "can it sweety, I have had worse glares than you can ever muster. And I know because Robin kept the group on track when we were ready to give up he pushed us forward, his knowledge of hacking saved our skin multiple time and he was the one who investigated what could be more dangerous than an army of living weapons. Kid Flash kept our moral up and stuck to his beliefs as best he could, when he felt something wasn't right he tried to fix it. Aqualad was the voice of reason that warned us of coming dangers that we needed to be prepared for and Superboy, even though he doesn't have a mentor—" at this Danny glared at Superman.

"Superboy didn't betray us even though he could have, he wanted to see the outside world and meet Superman so much that he threw his life in a pod away, EVERYTHING he knew so he could help us. If that is not Super hero quality then I don't know what is." After the speech Danny glared at the bat.

Superman stepped forward "and what role did you play in this?"

Robin, KF, Aqualad, and Superboy all stepped forward. "she kept us together." Said Robin

"she helped us get out" Aqualad said

"She totally beat the monster" KF and Superboy said "She gave me a choice to have freedom"

Danny was slightly touched, aww these boys weren't so bad. Smiling at them she turned to face the bat again. "Who are you?" He growled.

"My name is Danny Fenton"

Wonder Woman stepped forward "we can talk about this another time, right now I think Danny needs a new shirt….."

Danny froze, and looked down….. "God Dammit!"
