Mahari looked over at Kintantan and knew at the beginning, that she loved him. Kintantan was a handsome man. He also loved her. But that was not an excuse for what he did.

It was a cold Saturday night, when Kintantan met Sorceress Mayticall. She promised him almighty power and wealth if he killed the one that held the power to kill them both herself. At first, he didn't know whom it was, then remembered that the only one who had more power than him, was Mahari. In an angry yell his mind was taken over by something evil and forbidden to him. Mahari and Kintantan had been best friends and lovers for as long as they could remember. So he made his way to her house that very night, a dagger, hidden in his back pocket. The evil inside of him had taken full control and he would pay dearly for it.

Mahari was sitting on a bench in her bedroom, stroking her hair nervously. She knew that something was coming. Something wrong. And she was right. Ran pattered against the window, and thunder clapped loudly. Then the door swung open and Kintantan appeared. Mahari gasped and stood up, knowing that he wasn't himself.

"What are you doing here?" she asked.

"Shut up wench"

"Why are you doing this? Why are you here?"

"I said shut up"

He grabbed her by the arm. She broke free of his grasp and backed away from him in fear. Her eyes lit up, a silvery color. Her hair fluttered in the wind less area. Kintantan's eyes turned bright red.

"Go away, Kintantan."

"No! You must die!"

She backed away.

"Die?"

He grabbed her arm again and dragged her to the sorceress, who knocked her unconscious. When she awoke, she was in a giant test tube like object. It reached from the floor to the ceiling. Through the clear glass, she saw Kintantan's face, staring at her. His eyes were red. The sorceress took one look and said, she is ready she said, and flipped a switch. Mahari stood up and the test tube started filling with water. Kintantan help me", she cried to him. His eyes, turned soft blue and he resumed his normal self. He started struggling to open the test tube, but it didn't work. His eyes were filled with tears, and the water was up to her chin. She looked at him this is what she said:

"Kintantan, I know that you have been good to me and that this was not your fault. Kintantan, forget about me, leave me. I deserve to perish. You will live in almighty power and I know that the world is in good hands. Kintantan, don't cry for me. I might be young, have no heirs to carry on my duty, but you will save us all. Please, don't kill the people of earth. They don't deserve death. I will die for them. Leave me. Forget me. Live your life. But remember this Kintantan, I did not die for the people. I died for you. And may I deliver you, so be it."

The water soon went over her head, minutes after she was lifeless in the tank, the glass began to crack. Water flooded out and so did Mahari. She lie on the floor, lifeless. Kintantan cried for days but soon had almighty power and the people of the world died with Mahari. The sorceress lost power and soon died as well. So forever and ever. Kintantan, remained King Kintantan, King of grief, anguish, and almighty power.
