A/N: I wrote this songfic based on Ron and Hermione's sixth year, as they were fighting. You were so clever, you kept it together, today
"I can't believe I was so stupid about this" Ron muttered to Harry while they were 'doing' their potions homework. Books were scattered around the chairs and the table, along with many quills and bottles of ink.
By the way, I'll no longer ignore you
"Just talk to her, I'm sure she'll understand" Harry told his best friend, who was currently banging his head on the table, which was annoying Harry to no end.
I wanted to show you, again, I'm your friend, sometimes we just pretend
"And get attacked by another flock of canaries?I don't think so." Ron said.
"If you'd just explain to her--"
"Explain what? That I'm jealous that she chose Cormac instead of me?"
And all I can say is you saved me, changed all the things that have made me
"No, explain that you didn't really love Lavendar" Harry said, as he wrote down another line to his essay.
Ron paused, and when at least 30 seconds had passed, he asked, " You really don't love Lavendar... do you?"
"Um... I don't love her, but she was... ok... I suppose..."

"How could Ron be so insensitive?" Hermione thought as she looked up from her book; she hadn't been able to read anything anyway.

"Ok, maybe I was a little overdramatic with the canaries, but could you blame me?" she said to nothing inparticular.
A small voice in her head said, "Go to him, tell him you're sorry"

"No!" she said to the small voice, that she knew was her concious.
"He is going to have to tell me; if he is sorry in that case."

"Won't these two ever get along?" Harry wondered desperatly, as Ron kept banging his head on the table for the umpteenth time.

I know it was an abrupt ending, but I liked how it turned out, I think this song accuratly represents what happened between the two during sixth year, If you don't, please tell me in a review, this is my first a) songfic and b) Harry Potter fic (that i've posted lol) Please reveiw, I would really appreciate it!
