I do not own Harry Potter

It's a sad day for a mother when she realizes that when she looks at the clock to see where her children are and it says home it no longer means her home. Molly Weasley just had that realization. After having seven children most people would think she'd enjoy the silence, but she didn't. In fact she hated it.

She misses telling Bill he needs a haircut.

She misses fussing over Charlie when he did dangerous stunts on his broom.

She misses hearing Percy talk about politics and cauldron bottoms.

She misses Fred and George playing pranks on the family.

She misses Ron beating everyone at wizard chess.

She misses teaching Ginny how to cook.

She misses her babies.

It was hard for her when Bill, the oldest, moved away from home. Some people would think it gets easier having so many children, but the truth is it only gets harder. As each one left home she felt less and less needed. With Ginny, her youngest baby, gone she felt alone and useless.

When the second war began all her children frequently came to the house. She had been so scared that she would lose them, and so she fussed over them more than usual. Secretly she loved it because she felt so needed. Now with the war over and Voldemort gone they don't come nearly as often, and if she fusses too much they think her silly.

Bill is married to Fleur and working for Gringotts in Egypt.

Charlie has a serious girlfriend and has a ball working with dragons in Romania.

Percy has married Penelope and is quickly working his way up in the Ministry of Magic.

Fred and George have a successful business doing what they always loved.

Ron is engaged to Hermione and training to be an auror.

And Ginny has just moved in with Harry, who came over yesterday to ask Arthur a very important question, and she's joined a professional quidditch team.

Her babies are all grown up and they don't need her anymore.
