AN:/ I wrote this for a script witing competiton don't know if its any good or not so please review. I might continue the story into a crossover of torchwood if you like it. :) R&R

Doctor: quick everyone in the tardis now!
(everyone runs into the tardis, quite background sound of sontaran battle cry)
SONTAR-HA, SONTAR-HA, SONTAR-HA
Amy : doctor haven't we seen them before ?
River: yes you have, but he was different.
Amy: how was he different exactly?
Doctor: well for starters he didn't want to kill us.
River: only because he owed you a favour, and he was also a nurse.
Rory: hey! I'm a nurse!
River: Yeh, sorry...
Doctor: Their sontarans. Clones that are bread for war.
Rory: but why are they attacking us what have we done to them?
Doctor: they've tried to invade earth before. Convert the world into a breeding planet filling the air with toxic gases. I stopped it of course.
River: he always does!
Doctor: not always...
River: You always know how to win.
Doctor: oh shut it you!
River: make me.
Doctor: maybe I will
River: oh I do love it when you say that.
(both begin to laugh)
Rory: hello? Were about to die and you too can't stop flirting, even for one minute?
Doctor: ah yes, sorry about that. Anyway! Where was I. Oh yes that was it. I stopped the invasion but also destroyed the sontaran battle fleet.
Amy: so if we die it's all your fault.
Doctor: well yes but! I can fix it!
(Tardis starts to shake and lights start to flash, river walks out towards one of the corridors)
Rory: Doctor what's happening?
Doctor: It's the sontarans their breaking through.
Amy: you can get us out though right?
Doctor: I'm not sure something's wrong with the tardis. I think the sontarans have messed about with the wires connected to the chameleon circuit which means the only way to get her started is if I go outside.
Amy: so basically were stuck here and about to die!
Doctor: no! I'll find a way out of this.
Rory: doctor!
Doctor: sorry Rory bit busy now. Thinking. Shh.
Rory: But doctor it's about River!
Doctor: what about her!
Rory: she's gone!
Doctor: don't be stupid she's right their...
(doctor points next to amy)
Doctor: River! River! Where's she gone! Please tell me she didn't go outside! River!
(River begins to walk back through the same corridor at the same time the lights flick back on)
Amy: doctor the lights are back on. What's happened? Did River go outside? Where is she doctor?
(the doctor looks worried)
Doctor: amy i'm so sorry.
Amy: what do you mean? Where is she?
River: Hello sweetie.
Doctor: river! Oh thank goodness! Your alive! I thought you had gone outside to fix the chameleon circuit!
River: and why would I do that exactly! The chameleon circuit does not affect the tardis in flight at all! So why on earth did you think that was the problem? The only thing wrong with the tardis was you taking up to much power.
Doctor: what do you mean too much power?
River: well for starters you charge the sonic. Then you have to have the radiators on.
Doctor: what... my toes get cold at night.
River: You have to have every single light on in the Tardis! Then you haven't charged the tardis, on top of the rift, for quite a long time. So no wonder she's tired. The only reason the lights are back on is because I turned off the lights next door.
Rory: so we could have prevented all this worry. Just by turning off some lights?
Amy: well thank you doctor! Nearly killed us all!
Doctor: well I'm sorry for wanting to keep my toes. Well off we go maybe we could go to Cardiff. You know to power the tardis. Meet some old friends who knows.
