Kuroyuki's Poem

Forsaken, braking, all for you love.

I sit on the pews of the burned down churchwaiting for night to fall

an arranged meeting of sunset

meant for business

the church corridor blackened and battered as mice scatter beneath me

the scars on the hanging cross

though not hanging by much

all because of you

another face in the crowd

but to me a face I can love

serve.

protect.

Both of you

my sunset and moonrise in a feild of grass to tall to see over

as I grab a small clip of burnt paper

open my eyes and write my name

and wait six long tortuous minutes and finally

I fall to the floor knowing I can see you both once again

In this God forsaken church

that has been burnt so many times
