Unnatural Flight

Rough Boulder is an earth pony with a debilitating fear of heights. His number one quest is to quench this fear, and soar with his Flying Machine Project. These are the recovered passages.

1. Chapter 1

LOG 1.1

Hi there. My name is Rough Boulder, and these are my invention logs for the Flying Machine Project. By the point in time you are reading this, Mark 1 is complete and shall be tested when I am home from work.

My reasoning for starting on this project is quite simple, I suppose. I am an earth pony, and I have a debilitating fear of heights. I've always wanted to go and see the Pegasus Races in action, so my idea for getting over this fear was that of the Flying Machine. At the moment I am lodging quite near to an excellent testing ground just near the Sweet Apple Acres. I'm staying with a mare named Grape Vine. She runs a winery near to the Apple Farm, and is going to be of assistance for the tests.

I will write logs as often as possible. I fear I may not be able to use my hooves to the best of their ability after these tests are completed. For now, I must leave. I shall write next with the results and occurrences during the test.
