Over not Won
They stung like poison, those words that you quipped.
In my heart and my soul they felt like a whip.
It was like agony as the reality hit
I disgusted you and that was it
I started to tremble as my vision turned white
And shoved my sword into something with all mustered might
I felt something wet splatter against my trembling hand
And as my vision cleared I started to understand
You were gone forever and could no longer guide
The sketchy outlines of my twisted up life
And I got on a horse and it began to run
As I thought "The battle iss over but it can never be won."
