Mole sat there and sighed. What the heck was he doing wrong?! All he was being was... well... him. What was so wrong about that?
He watched the others eat their dinner, far away from him. He felt like they were too disgusted by him, so they sat away. Mole didn't get why they hated him so much. He sighed and dug another one of his holes. ''Hey, Mole.'' Milo called.
Mole turned around to see the kind boy smile at him. ''Why don't you come on and sit with us.'' Mole shook his head. ''No thank you.'' He said. ''I'm fine.'' Milo stared at him.
Why did he say he was fine when he looked so sad? Milo sat next to him. Mole looked up at him. He blinked in confusion. ''Mole.'' Milo said. ''I think we got off at a bad start.'' Mole nodded. ''I got off at a really bad ztart with audrey.'' Milo nodded. ''I can tell. Mole, I was thinking that you were lonely.'' Mole sighed.
''Well... a little. Yez.'' Milo smiled. ''I know how it feels.'' Mole blinked. ''How do you know how it feelz monsuire?'' Mole asked. ''Everyone likez you.'' Milo smiled. ''Well i'm sure they like you too.'' Mole shook his head. ''No, they don't.'' ''Are you sure?'' He nodded.
Milo stared at Mole. ''It's ok to feel lonely, Mole. We've all been there. We just need someone to share happiness with. I know you feel like your nothing, but you are something, something speical. That something makes you you. And no one can take that away from you. Everyone has their place, you just gotts relieze what your's is. Do you understand what i'm saying?'' Mole nodded happily.
''Milo... thank you.'' He hugged him. Milo laughed a bit and got out of Mole's strong grip. ''Now,'' he said. ''I think the others are waiting for you.'' Mole nodded and ran over to the others and sat next to Audrey. She blinked. ''Well, you seem happy.'' Mole nodded. ''Never better, my friendz!''
