Happiness Found: A Tiva Tale

Tony walked through the door of the cozy town house he had purchased a year earlier. As soon as he stepped over the threshold, he felt at ease. Work had
been particularly stressful that day. They had just closed a case, so there was a mountain of paper work that had had to be completed. As he walked into the kitchen, he felt all the stress leave his body. Ziva was standing in the kitchen, looking the spitting image of a domestic goddess. She was clad in an apron that failed to cover the bump on her stomach that was their baby girl, and was carrying a tray laden with delicious-looking food. Her face lit up as he approached, and she set the tray down on the dinning table, walked to meet him and placed a loving kiss to his lips.

"How was your day?" Ziva asked, taking of the apron and leading Tony to the table.

"Fine. Tiring. Gibbs slapped me eight times." He said taking the plate she handed him.

"I think that's a new record!" Ziva laughed. They continued to talk all through dinner and once they were finished they moved to the living room. Tony selected a movie for them to watch, placing the DVD in the player and walking to the couch to join his wife.

"What did you choose this time?" Asked Ziva.

"An old classic. Die Hard!" He answered, settling down next to Ziva. Soon the movie was starting...

A little over an hour later, Ziva had fallen asleep during the movie in Tony's arms. He marvelled at her ability to sleep through anything, even the most action-packed movie EVER! He switched of the TV and snuggled down next to her. It was these moments Tony loved the most, holding the woman he loved, and would love for the rest of his life. He looked at Ziva's sleeping form and found a contentedness he never thought he would feel. He had finally found his happiness.

Dedicated to my best friend, a die hard Tiva (and Die Hard) fan.
