"What choice do we have?" I ask him, "We're harmful to one another," and as those words leave my mouth and I turn to him, nostalgia, similar to 'déjà vu', rapidly washes over me. I look at Efreet and…he resembles another. A human.

He witnesses the look on my face, and as I presume he would, he stays silent but does not look away.

Once we were no longer needed, once we return to our temples where we reside until asked upon, I drift and dwell over that sensation, and what it meant, and what I saw…

A tall, well considerably for a human, broad, middle-aged man.

Dark hair, soft eyes, and a misunderstood steadiness in his countenance that might make some feel intimidated, though…I feel that it is unintended. That it was never his intention. And yet, he did next to nothing to make them feel differently.

I know this person…well, of course I do. It appears I conjured him up after all.

Efreet and I, the few times we have come into each other's presence, due to our obvious properties, can never stay in the same place together for too long. So, I've barely conversed with him but the scarce moments I have, well, I become…uncomfortable.

I've never known why and never sought the reason.

Maybe this person…is someone from my dreams. A dream I can't remember but whom Efreet resembles.

I've only known my fellow summon spirits and the humans that have vowed a pact with me along with their comrades, but none of them have looked a thing like the person I see.

So, it must be a person from a dream. A dream I must have had a long, long time ago.

"I'm back,"

Pale blue hair bounces in the air along with the sound of small feet padding quickly across a wooden floor, before they round a corner to the entry way.

A wide beam of a smile spreads over a small face, "Papa!"
