Still here
My second Nick/Greg story. This takes place after my story, "Any Other Time." You don't necessarily have to read that story first, but it might explain what's happening.
Nick and Greg, established relationship, rated T to be safe.
I don't own CSI
Nick Stokes blinked his eyes opened to a welcome sight: Greg Sanders, who he had come to love, lay beside him just staring. Nick looked into the beautiful man's brown eyes, getting lost in the promise those eyes held.
Greg raised a hand to push Nick's hair off his forehead. "Hi," he said softly.
Nick trailed his hand up from Greg's hip to his shoulder. "I'm sorry."
Greg narrowed his eyes in question. When Nick looked away, Greg moved his hand to Nick's chin and raised it so their eyes could meet again.
NIck took a deep breath. "I didn't...I don't want to use you, G."
Greg's gaze softened. "Nick..."
"No, I just...I don't want to hurt you."
"You haven't..."
"I..."
"Nick, please..."
"I love you," Nick said. "I'm afraid of, of hurting you...using you..."
Before Nick could ramble any further, Greg's lips met his in a slow, sensual kiss. Nick allowed himself to get lost in the feel of Greg's lips on his and of him being so close. When the need for air broke them apart, Greg rested his forehead on Nick's.
"You have never used me," Greg began. "I want to be with you, Nick. I've been in love with you since I first met you." Cupping Nick's cheek in his hand, Greg added, "If I recall correctly, I led you to the bedroom last night."
Nick softly smiled at the memory of Greg silently leading him into the bedroom and taking him into his arms and giving him a soft, slow kiss. Normally they would have practically ripped their clothes to shreds to get them off. But last night they were slow, savoring every kiss and every touch. They made love, reveling in every sensation.
Greg took Nick's hand and placed it over his heart. "You can't lose me, Nick. You're right here. No matter what, you're a part of me Nicky."
A tear escaped Nick's eye and ran down his cheek. "I don't want to just be someone who turns to you for sex. I know I want to be with you. Whethter you know it or not, you've been saving me for years. Through everything, you've always been there. If I regret anything, it's waiting too long to tell you."
Now it was Greg's turn to shed a tear. With a soft chuckle, Greg said, "Better late than never."
Nick smiled. So like Greg to bring a smile to his face when he thought he couldn't.
Greg held Nick's gaze. "You're not just someone I have sex with, Nicky. You're...you're my heart."
Another tear found it's way down Nick's cheek. "I thought I was the sappy one." Nick captured Greg's mouth with his own in a sensuous, slow kiss. When they broke apart, Nick and Greg looked at Nick's hand still over Greg's heart.
"You're still there, Nicky."
"Always," Nick said softly.
Greg smiled and brushed his lips across Nick's. "I love you, too."
The kiss slowly grew in heat and passion as they began to make love once again. Greg reveled in feeling Nick's mouth trailing kisses down his neck and chest. Nick wrapped his arms around Greg as he stopped just at Greg's chest just above his heart.
"I'm always here," Nick whispered, placing a soft kiss where Greg's heart was.
"Always," Greg whispered.
The End.
