A red book I have kept

A red book I have kept

Which stores the memories exept

The one embedded in my mind

Our story is the one that I bind

It is kept somewhere in my room,

Where the darkness looms

Under something of element

It holds also my lament

It takes a lot of courage

For me to even take a look

Because it reminds me

Of how much pain it took

To put everything in one piece

So, I ponder from time to time

Shall I open that red book

And have a quick look?

Or should I read it,

When it has become my story once again?

It has everything that reminds me of you

The good, the bad

My thoughts, they are quite sad

My diary that had kept going

From the time

The feelings began

So my beloved,

In case I forget

In case I leave

Find my red book

And preserve,

The secrets,

Our story,

And my love.

I love you, Beloved.
