When Dick got bulky Wally wasn't really sure how he felt. Sure, in no way was Dick less attractive, but Wally was now the shorter of the two and that came with many disadvantages.

Disadvantage one: He'd have to bottom. Wally West has never really liked things up his ass, even when he was young he could never get off if he had a finger up there. It just wasn't a turn on. So when he realized he had begun raising his head instead of lowering it to look at Dick, he kind of freaked out. I mean, Wally has watched a lot of porn and the shorter guy always seemed to bottom. It made sense even, have the smaller one bottom for riding or flipping position purposes.

However, when he tried to man up and face the facts, he didn't do a very good job. He ended up turning Dick down for sex, and Dick is no fool, Wally never turned down sex. So that led to Dick's "investigation" -to find out what was wrong with Wally.

Let's just say Wally didn't last long, a day and a half before the ginger broke down and told Dick that he could top if it meant they could have sex. Dick was...flabbergasted, but he could tell the moment he spread Wally's legs that bottoming was not a West approved idea. So he rolled his eyes and gave Wally the easiest excuse that he could to the trembling redhead.

"Look, dude, this isn't porn. You're fast, I'm flexible, why mess with a working system?" Wally was relieved to say the least.

Disadvantage Two: Wally West was not a girl. He does not like the he has to reach up to give Dick a kiss, even if it was a small one. All stereotypes admitted, it was so ingrained in him that he could not look past it. Dick made a fuss about hurting his neck to crane down to Wally, so Wally did the only logical thing, he pulled Dick by the shirt to meet him. Artemis had laughed so hard the first time Wally attempted it that he never did it again. Wally began to only kiss Dick when the ward was sitting, but that was too low for Wally to do comfortably.

So Dick did the only thing he could to compensate. If he wanted to kiss Wally standing, he would hunch, not his neck, but his knees. Sure he tried other options first, wrapping Wally's legs around his waist, but the ginger insisted he wasn't a lady. Even letting Wally straddle him, but Artemis would wolf whistle. So Dick took one for the team, until he got Wally heals anyway.

Disadvantage Three: Being the little spoon. Wally had pride, and lots of it. There was no way in hell, he would be the small spoon. Dick wasn't to keen on being the little spoon either, the height made it awkward and didn't suit his back to well.

So this was a war in its own, neither boy letting up. This ended up with little battles throughout the day. (Ex: "You beat me in training and I'll let you be big spoon tonight." "You guys are fucking intolerable, Jesus.").

This actually was the longest lived of their problems, but eventually they made a deal. Wally was big spoon on days Monday through Wednesday, and Dick was on Thursday though Saturday. Sundays went to whoever took down the coolest villain that week.

Advantage one: Wally really, really, and did I mention really liked it when Dick would let him sit on his lap while they watched television.

Advantage two: The ginger also liked sitting on Dick's back while the bird did push-ups.

Advantage three: Piggy back rides, and really, I think that says it all.
