Orange is one of the main protagonists in Orange and Blue. Orange is the kind of person who doesn't take many missions seriously, but still wants to do the mission. Orange lives with Blue because she needed to find a place to stay, because she couldn't afford the rent at Flounder Heights. Blue Is Orange's best friend, and won't let Orange go anywhere alone.

Green can be a main protagonist or a secondary character in Orange and Blue. Green is one of the happiest characters in Orange and Blue, but she doesn't think everything is sunshine and rainbows every time. Green is one year older than Orange and Blue, being 15. Green likes to just stay at home and use her computer and doesn't want to be bothered when that happens. If there's one thing you don't do around Green is to not. Hurt. Her. Friends. EVER. If you do? Well then you have Mr. Kraken coming your way.

Turquoise is a secondary character in Orange and Blue. Turquoise was born with poor eyesight, which is why he always wears glasses. Turquoise lives in Flounder Heights with his girlfriend Pink. Turquoise is mostly laid back and doesn't take things too seriously. Most people think that Turquoise is mostly the baddest squid of the bunch, but Turquoise doesn't really care. Turquoise isn't the happiest (that would be Green) but he is the most energetic. Turquoise mostly has some sort of device with him all the time, like a portable gaming system, or his phone/ tablet.

Pink is a secondary character in Orange and Blue. Pink is one of those girls who doesn't want anything terrible to happen to anyone and if anything terrible happens, she wants to stop whatever bad is happening. Pink lives with Turquoise in Flounder Heights. Pink likes to stay at Orange's and Green's house from time to time. But for the most point she likes to stay with Turquoise.

Purple is a secondary character in Orange and Blue. Purple is either shy, or socially awkward around people. Purple only had one friend, a female Blue. This Blue was the closest Purple had to a girlfriend. Unfortunately, Blue was killed in an Octoling attack, causing Purple to not hurt anyone and wants to make new friends.
