"I'm sorry there's nothing we could have done." the doctor said as he turned round and walked away solemnly. Brock slumped down in the hospital chair, unable to comprehend what had happened. He looked down at Pikachu. The yellow little mouse was taking it better than he was. It was currently trying to console Togepi who didn't understand where it's mother had went. Brock's thoughts began to dwell on the good times he'd had with his old friends. He smiled as he remembered the first time they'd all defeated Team Rocket together. Smiled when he thought of how Ash had seemed to be doing so well in the Indigo League. Now they were both gone. Killed when the plane they were all in crashed. Brock had managed to get out relatively unscathed with Pikachu and Togepi, but the others weren't so lucky. Ash and Misty both barely survived the actual crash but had died just moments earlier, Misty just before Ash. He hoped they'd gone someplace better.

Where am I?

You're here Ash.

Who is that?

It's me Misty.

Misty? But you died?

Yes I did. So did you.

What?!

You're dead Ash. But don't worry, there is no fear in this place. No pain, no anger, no hurt.

I feel it. I know I should be upset, but I'm not. So where is this place?

Where do you think it is? You're in heaven.

Heaven.

Ash, now that we're here I can finally tell you something I should of told you a long time ago.

You don't need to. Somehow, I know exactly what you're going to tell me. I've always known. You love me.

Yes.

And you know what I'm about to tell you don't you. You've always known, somehow.

Yes. You love me too.

Wow. Is it true then?

Is what true?

That heaven is whatever you want it to be.

It would appear so. This is what I want it to be. An eternity with you.

Me too.

Brock stood over a large gravestone. The sky grew dark with rainclouds. "Well guys, this is it. I can only go by what I witnessed, but I saw a lot of love between the two of you. I hope this is what you would have wanted." he knelt down at the graveside and placed two single roses , one on each of the graves under the Gravestone. Each side of the stone had the details of the two trainers. Underneath both, in the middle of the stone were two words. Fallen Angels.
