Disclaimer: I do not own the characters. Period. End of story. All that belongs to J.K. Rowling. This story idea first came from my friend, who not only gave me permission to write this, but asked me to write this because she said she could not finish the idea.
This is just a fun idea my friend came up with one day, and asked me to write up. I am writing this up now so that I know I can do something outside of school before finals come up next week. Have fun with this one-shot.
And now, without further to do (see, I kept the opening short), here is Private Matters.
Lily, James, and Sirius were finishing up their lunch one day when, out of nowhere, Lily exclaimed, "James, I'm ready now."
"Now? When Sirius is here? In front of Sirius? Are you insane? You know how immature he is. Sorry, mate," he turned to Sirius.
"He won't mind. We'll go upstairs to our room so that Sirius won't have to see. Right Sirius? You don't mind, do you?"
"No, no, I don't mind. Have fun, you two," was Sirius's reply, somewhat suggestively.
Lily started pulling James upstairs. A few moments later, Sirius could clearly hear Lily giggling and James groaning. Then there was silence. Sirius heard Lily, then James a little later. Then it stopped. This pattern repeated every few minutes for the next fifteen minutes. Meanwhile, Sirius snooped around the kitchen of his friends' home.
Thirsty, Sirius opened a cabinet to grab a butterbeer, and found there was only one bottle left. He Apparated upstairs to ask if he could drink it. He looked over onto the bed, where James and Lily were. Automatically, Sirius started laughing.
At the sound of laughter, James looked over to find Sirius, watching what took place. "Get. Out. Now. This is a private matter," he explained to Sirius. He turned back to his wife and said, "I told you he was too immature to see this."
Sirius decided to listen to his friend for once, and prepared to Disapparate down to the kitchen. But, before he could do so, Lupin walked in to the room.
"What is going on here? I heard laughing, and James yelling," he told Sirius. "What is going on?"
Lupin looked over to the bed, watching James and Lily. "Oh my gosh. You are actually doing this in front of Sirius? Do you know how immature he is? No wonder he was laughing. Now we know that he's going to die alone. He can't handle seeing this."
Sirius started laughing again. "It's not that I'm too immature, mate. I just find it funny that James is actually letting Lily braid his hair."
