My life is symbolic for oblivion

My presense is a metaphore for sin

My soul represents all that is unholy

And my essence is the end

My ruby eyes bleed tears in streams

My dark values are never heard

My demonic features will go on living

But love is the lesson I had to learn

I had to teach myself...

Love was the price I had to pay

A crimson soul that seeks the truth

Those ruby eyes that cannot see

A bloody fate has yet to come

That sanguine lie of eternity

A dead man walking is all I am

I fear and loath this immortality

I should be walking in the afterlife

My death should finally be set free

It never will be...

Love was the price I had to pay

Blazing and newborn like our sun

Delicate and mournful like the moon

Both with radiance and illumination

Both to be eliminated soon

There are so many questions left unanswered

There are too many lies yet to be told

Too many innocent people struggle in life

Their decent ways are bought and sold

We can't earn an honest life...

And my ruby eyes are blind...

Love was the price I had to pay
