Title: Everyday Incidents

Hello and welcome to my new KnB story!

I've been reading some fem! GoM stories and was inspired to start my own little series. As far as I know there are only hints of parings in the story and I haven't decided if I'll make them official or not.

But unlike my other ongoing KnB fic, this won't be updated periodically, but I defiantly won't go a month without updating it at least once.

Enjoy!

Kasamatsu was so dead. It didn't matter that the little monster was barely a middle school graduate; Kise Ryouta was still a girl. A pretty girl on top of that. He couldn't handle girls, they always flustered him and he always broke out in a cold sweat that left him stuttering and chocking. But unlike the rest of the female population, he wouldn't be able to avoid this one, after all both Coach Takeuchi and Kasamatsu had decided that in the interest of Kaijou's future, they would snatch up one of the illustrious Generation of Miracles.

It was the most nerve-wracking conversation of his life.

He spent the whole tour looking past the tall girl's shoulder and only spoke when necessary; he left most of the talking to Coach. The only time he ever truly looked the blond in the eye is when she made it clear that she did not care for the 'hierarchy' that was between upperclassmen and underclassmen; she would do what she wanted regardless if he was the Captain. It pissed him off because he knew immediately that the brat was challenging him and he decided that if she was coming here then he needed to put her in her place. Kise's face morphed to a polite smirk and her yellow-honey eyes glinted like a cat's eyes before agreeing to the 'match'. He lost the one-on-one match, hearing about the strength of the Generation of Miracles and actually experiencing it were two completely different things and it was hard to remember that he had just lost to a girl.

But it didn't bother him like he thought. It was obvious to him and the rest of the Kaijou team that this girl, belonged on the court. She must have seen something in him because to his and everyone's surprise, Kise smiled brightly at him, "I'll be happy to join Kaijou sempai~" Unlike before there was obvious respect in her voice and she no longer looked at him like he was just some weaker player. Then with an elegant wave of her hand she walked out, the gaggle of admirers following in her wake.

There was a stunned silence in the room, "Wow she's hot." One of the benchwarmers breathed out in awe. Kasamatsu felt his eyebrow's twitch in irritation, "If you have time to ogle girls than you're not practicing enough! Go run 50 laps around the gym outside!" The second year looked terrified for a brief moment before scampering away outside. Jesus Christ, the brat hasn't even officially joined the team and Kise was already causing problems!

This was going to be a long year.

He doesn't know what quite to believe when he (finally) notices the small blunette girl in the lineup where the coach is assessing the physical condition of the new soon-to-be players. He's not against girls playing basketball at all, he knows from personal experience that they are just as talented as or better than guys who play too. But the girl appeared of nowhere and she looks so incredibly small and fragile that he wonders if she can actually play. Coach and the boys in the gym practically screech when they see that Kuroko is about to take off her shirt (didn't she have any shame?!) and the brunette coach hurriedly pulls it down while angrily yelling (threating really) at the rest of them to start practice while she pulls the other girl to the empty changing rooms.

Kagami could only look at the small blunette girl in angry astonishment, for all of Kuroko's talk, she sucks at basketball. And he lets her know, he practically yells it at her and all Kuroko did was stare at up at him unflinchingly. No trace of emotions what so ever and it pisses him off even more when the girl calls herself a 'shadow'. He leaves the court disappointed and frustrated.

Kagami takes all his words back the very next day. He watches in amazement as she manipulates the ball around the court into his hands and the flawless way she does it reminds him of magic (hell, he'd forgotten the girl was even on the court until the first pass to one of the other boys on their team). In all his years of playing basketball, he's never seen anyone pass so fluidly and he can tell right off the bat that Kuroko's an expert- no a specialist. Not weak at all, just a different kind of strength than his and he can respect that.

Later, he asks her about the Generation on Miracles.

"Are they girls too? How do you think I'd stand against them?" From what little he's heard, the GoM are a group of once every few decades basketball geniuses that were considered the absolute best in middle school and he hopes all he's heard is true because he likes strong opponents. "Yes we're all girls, but you can't touch them at your level, you'd be crushed." Kuroko replies in her flat (as he's learning is her default) deadpanned voice not attempting to sugar coat her words even a little.

Instead of feeling despair at the words, he feels excited. He's been waiting for a challenge like this to come up; a challenge where he doesn't know if he'll win the match or not. The excitement only grows larger when Kuroko looks at him and promises that she'll make him the number one player in Japan, she'll be his shadow and they will defeat the Generation of Miracles together.

Touou quickly realizes that despite their amazing players, Aomine Daiki is in a league all on her own. She is all hard edges and solid muscles that don't take away from the fact that at the end of the say she is still female. At first, Imayoshi is slightly annoyed that some of his players are more impressed by Aomine's figure (how can a barely middle school graduate look like that?) so he is glad that the dark skinned girl quickly demonstrated the endless cavern sized difference between her and them. While he knew how difficult Aomine could be he doesn't remember a time Wakamatsu has been so angry/annoyed.

The blond is openly glaring at the disinterested dark skinned girl who calmly turned her back to retreat to wherever she went to take naps. Momoi had one hand on his friends shoulder in an attempt to keep her here with their teammates and that practice would be fun- "Aomine! You are going to practice like everyone here!" Wakamatsu is flat on his back before he can even tug on the wrist that he barely grabbed before Aomine turns beast like and glowers down at him the way a wild cat did a mouse.

No one stops Aomine from leaving after that.

Rakuzan is a strong team. They always win, regardless of who they are playing. Despite already having three Uncrowned Kings in their arsenal there is an air of anticipation because Akashi Seijuro, Captain of the Generation of Miracles, has chosen to come to their school, their basketball team. While they were usually guaranteed a victory, they knew that the addition of this prodigy meant that victory was now an absolute certainty.

She sweeps into the team with an elegance and beauty befitting of an Emperor and leads them into countless victories that are more amazing then the last and the Rakuzan players hold their breath.

With Akashi Seijuro, they immediately learn, Rakuzan is unstoppable.

"You shouldn't have hit that boy Atsushi." Murasakibara barely glances up at Himuro and instead concentrated on the sweet resting in her hand, "I hardly touched him Muro-chin," He could still see the image of the giant girl placing her large hand on the misguided (really, what did he expect Atsushi to do after that remark?) boy's head and squeeze with a childish glee in her violet eyes. "'Sides, he started it." She adds childishly, hardly stopping to munch on her chips.

But Himuro can't find it in him to be angry. Atsushi finally looks up at him and there is a small hesitance in her gaze that's waiting for a scolding, an uncertainty in her eyes that reminds him that she's barely graduated from middle school and it makes him sad to see that insecurity. He pats her head, "You did nothing wrong, why don't we go to the buffet later?" He's rewarded by a enthusiastic (for her anyway) 'Yay Muro-chin is the best~' (so what if he felt a small sense of satisfaction?).

He thinks back to the incident with the boy and knows that if Atsushi hadn't done anything, then he would have punched the bastard in the face.

Takao has never met anyone as weird as Midorima. The girl was prim and proper to the point that he felt suffocated for her, and that was saying something because that was before one took into account whatever out of place item she towed along in her delicate left hand. But this was…unexpected. He nearly bursts his spleen when the poor guy (another first year) looks at Midorima like he'd never seen anyone like her and asks to meet him outside the gym after practice, and he chokes down his laughter because dear God was Shin-chan blushing a little?! Does this guy really expect Midorima to-?

"I suppose it won't be too much trouble to meet you."

She agreed. And his jaw drops open in disbelief. At that point he runs to the gym ahead of Midorima and he hurriedly laments to the rest of Shutoku (who look at him like he's the crazy one!)

"Shin-chan's virtue is in danger!" He wailed, how could Shin-chan do this to him?!

"You idiot, as if she'd say yes to some random brat that she probably doesn't know!" Miyaji-senpai retorts angrily, but he can't stop the small inkling of disgust (how dare some punk try to poach their ace-!) Kimura-senpai glances at Miyaji and offers him a fruit basket to throw at the interloper's head. Ootsubo-senpai looks at them like their idiots.

But somehow, minutes later found the regulars of the team peaking at Midorima and the enemy (yes that's what he was) from behind several high bushes, they can't really hear what the two are saying, but Takao hopes that Midorima dishes out her usually indifferences and the guy leaves their Shin-chan alone and walk away with a broken heart (vicious, he knows, but he isn't the only one who wants the sucker to suffer). Then Midorima bows her head respectfully and briskly walks away from the guy-who looks rather dejected, and they all scramble to get back to practice before she realizes that they're gone.

"So? Does Shin-chan have a new friend now~?" He wiggles his eyebrows suggestively as Midorima walks out from the changing room in her baggy work out cloths. "I do not have a new anything," She frowned at the thought, "I told him that I am too busy with club activities to consider having a relationship." She paused, looked at him and something flashed quickly through her eyes too fast for him to identify.

"Besides, he's an Aquarius. We're not that compatible. Aside from the fact that I didn't even know who he was."

Takao can only grin at the typical Midorima response, "Of course Shin-chan."

How is it? Any good? Suggestions for improvements?

Review please~
