Candy Kiss
It seems I've been waiting forever when Tohru enters the room
"Tohru TOHURRUUU!" I yell as
I run up to her, "Momiji-san!" Tohru smiles as she always does, bright and wonderful.
"Hai! I came to help you with your job!" I say standing on my tiptoes and raising my hand
high in the air. Tohru comments that
I should`nt but of course I don`t listen as I help her.
As the time slips by and
I enjoy my time alone with Tohru I think of when I will find love?
I love Tohru very much but not the
type that you get married and live the
rest of your lives togther, no my
love for Tohru is like candy sweet and pure..
I wish it could be like the hidden
love Kyou and Yuki have for her, but in the end I know they
need her more then I ever will.
So I think of this as I say my farewell to Tohru and Yuki as they walk home..
will I ever find that love?, that kind
of love that will last forever..and ever?..
I sigh as I go home , my lonely home,
I don`t always feel that-this way, not really
I want to be happy for the people around me- Hari-san,
Haru, I smile into the darkness of my room
as I think of my family, my mother..
my mother who I don`t blame are hate for what she did,
I think in the end it was best..in the end..but I'll always love her always..
like Tohru and the rest..I will always love them cause even if the candy is gone
you always have the memory of what it tasted like, such is the way of love.
I will always have that memories of all them, of Tohru`s kind face,
Yuki`s rare smile, Kyou`s wise words..Shigure`s laugh, Ayame`s sense of humor.
Kisa`s voice, Hiro`s sly way, Hari-san`s happiness , Haru`s kindness everyone..
are sweet memories I hold close to my heart..it`s a candy you don`t want to eat
one you want to keep and savor forever. Perhaps I have found that love
that I look for ...in my family ,the kind of love that will last forever..
.such a sweet candy kiss form my family and friends.
I smile as I dream such sweet dreams..and the candy kiss left by my
family that I leave forever close to my heart.
