Part 1: "Nice to meet you"

"Hi, Sasuke!" Sakura exclaimed as she approached me. I looked at her and just sighed. She was always looking for my attention. She and Ino always fought over me. I didn't understand why. Girls at the academy were so stupid. I closed my locker and began to walk by her.

"Eh... Sasuke?!" She said as I was half way by her. I stopped and stared out of the corner of my eye.

"Um... I was just wondering if you wanted to... get together for lunch or something?" She smiled with a worried expression. I dropped my head and walked on.

I didn't want to get together to eat with her. I heard her moan then trudge away. My day was busy enough without her in it.

I walked straight forward down the hallway to my next class. I slid the door open and walked up the stairs. I took my seat just as the bell rang.

Class trudged by and I took notes on the lesson. The ending bell rang and I walked down the stairs alone.

I arrived in the lunchroom and sat at my regular, isolated, corner table. I looked at the lunch line and evaluated that the food wasn't worth my time. I laid my head down and rested. No more than ten minutes later, someone was there.

"Sasuke," It was Kakashi-sensei. "we've gotten a new student and I'd like to introduce you to him." I looked up and saw a blond-headed kid with liquid blue eyes.

I'd never been much of the type to like new students. I wasn't too excited to have to associate with a new student. But, this student... He was...different. I couldn't quite understand why I was so intrigued by him. All I knew was that I liked this new student. He smiled at me and scratched the back of his head.

"His name is Uzamaki Naruto." Kakashi said.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Sasuke." I said smiling a crooked smile and holding out my hand. He shook it and took a seat next to me.

"I'll just leave you two here to associate." Kakashi said as he walked off.

"Hey." Naruto said shyly.

"Hello." I said back. I shied away from him. The bell rang before we could engage in a conversation.

"Naruto," I said as we made our way through the double doors. "we should get together tonight at my place."

"Okay! I'll be there!" He said as he looked at a piece of paper that had my dorm number on it.

We made our way to the next class and the day seemed to drag on slower. I exited the academy in a hurry and went to my dorm.

The room was dark and I had almost next to nothing of food. All i had was endless supplies of roman that the academy provided for me. I cooked the roman and provided a nice meal.

I was just setting the last bowl when there was a knock on the door. I dusted off my shirt and headed for the door. I gripped the handle nervously and opened the door.
