Oh but then it might not be Linalee who dies. What if YOU die? End of story? Oh no. Do you really think that fragile Linalee, who had to be restrained for two years to prevent her from committing suicide, only because she had been taken away from her brother, could survive the loss of her love? And suicide for suicide, why not allow said love to live again? Oh but Linalee is much stronger than that, you're thinking. She knows about Akumas...
Is Cross strong Allen? No, he is not around, you can stop trembling. Anyway, think about it. The General who carries two Innocence, the strongest. An Exorcist from his earliest years. Someone whose mother was turned into an Akuma by his beloved father. Ask him next time you meet him about his love, the pretty Lulu-chan. Ask him what he did after her neck was snapped by an angry costumer. Well, you do know, I suppose, about Cross' liking for whores, don't you?

Moyashi-chan I may seem like a little Rabbit, I may kiss Yuu under the moonlight but I am a Bookman. I chronicle and to do that I must stay alive. Give my life up for somebody else's sake? I think not.
