Smile in the Clouds
We sat there...staring up at the clouds. Lingering on the moment. It had been a long time since we had spent time together since he was on his quest for revenge and I stayed behind to train. I couldn't lecture him on his decisions in the past nor could I praise him for them. He did choose revenge over me. Any normal girl would make him pay for what he did... but not me...afterall he did make the decision to come back...to me. He had been pushing me away ever since we had first met. He was afraid to open up to anyone and everyone, including me,...but that still didn't explain why he invited me out here.
" Sasuke..." I turned to him and stared up into his emotional face. He still showed no sign or hint at what he was thinking. He hadn't changed that much.
" Yeah,...what is it?" He didn't turn to me when he talked. He continued to watch the clouds. I could tell he really enjoyed the peace. This was an emotion I had never seen before. At the corner of his lips...I saw some movement. A smirk...no wait...a smile. The cold-hearted emotionless Uchiha was smiling.
" Why did you bring me out here? ...and why are you smiling?" He finally turned to me. He stared at me with those deep onyx eyes into my emerald green ones. Something felt weird. Maybe it was his stare. It sent shivers all over my body. This was just weird.
" Hn..." He never turned away from my face. There was that same old comment. It really annoyed me.
" You always say that...what does 'hn' mean anywa-" I was cutoff. I could not finish my sentence. Sasuke had pressed his lips against mine. What kind of answer was that? Oh well. I finally learned what that weird feeling was. The one that sent shivers through my body. It was...love.
