Helen and Deneve: A Love Not to Be Known

"Deneve, how long have we known each other?"

"Since training, all that pain and suffering…" Deneve shook her short boyish hair.

"Why?" Deneve seemed a hint confused, but I wanted to be honest as possible to my best

friend. C'mon Helen, its three simple words!

"Denev, I… I uhhh…" I couldn't place the words correctly! But I want this off of my chest.

"You okay Helen?" Deneve asked me, quirking a blonde brow over her hypnotizing silver e

yes. She stepped closer to me.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I want to say something, but I don't know how to say it." I glanced to the

ground and looked back up. I was startled by Deneve being so close to me. I could feel my

heart pounding on my ribs at the closeness.

I stepped back from Deneve and drew in a deep breath. Deneve's expression softened as did her beautiful eyes.

"Deneve, I care… deeply for ya," I uttered softly. Her expression became confused and she furrowed her brow.

"What? I don't understand what you said." She began to panic. I worried that I had confused my dear Deneve.

"Close your eyes!" I commanded sternly. Deneve was taken aback but agreed to my demand.

"Is this the only way you can tell me what it is?"

"Yes my dear. It is. Now shut up and wait." Deneve giggled and silenced herself. I took this

time to examine her fully. And was she beautiful. Soft-looking light pink lips, moderately

sized breasts, a nice body from hunting all the yoma that she does being number 15, and

strong legs. I felt heat creep onto my cheeks as I examined Deneve, and quickly dismissed it.

I know that "Claymores" aren't supposed to have relations with a fellow warrior but I can't

restrain myself from her. I leaned in closer to her lips and felt her breath tickle my lips. I

giggled a little, but not too much. I could see Deneve peeking her eye open.

"No peeking!" I scolded. She shut her eye and chuckled.

"Now keep them closed. This is a surprise."

"Yes ma'am Miss Helen," she joked. I pressed two of my fingers to her lips. They're even

softer than I thought, I marveled. Slowly I leaned in to her again, our lips barely brushed

when Deneve snapped her eyes open and pushed me to the ground.

"If a kiss was what you wanted love, you could've asked," she stated calmly. I put a hand

behind her head, on her soft silken hair, and pulled her head to mine, forcing our lips to

crash together in a long awaited kiss. Our kiss wasn't anything special at first just a

regular touch of lips. Then it escalated into something more passionate and heated.

I was gently grasping her hair on the back of her head and twisting it around.

Before we knew it we had to break the kiss for air. We were panting and beet red

because that was our first kiss. Not like we care about things like that as humans do, but it

mattered to us. Right when we were about to kiss again, Jean entered the room.

"Captain," we addressed the number 9 warrior respectfully but out of breath.

"Captain Miria would like to see you Helen. And don't forget that we are meeting again

tonight," Jean reported to me and my love. I gazed to Deneve and caressed her cheek.

Jean became red and said, "Now, Miria wants to see you NOW!"

"Give me… a second… Jean," I said. She scoffed and left. I looked deeply into Deneve's

eyes lovingly. I gave her a final kiss and gave her a hug.

"I promise I will be back my love."

"You better," Deneve warned.
