Marinette didn't come to school today. Ayla said she was sick. Fever, cough, dizzy, the works.

It's been a week since Marinette came to school. It's very worrisome that such a healthy girl could be out of school so long. He really hoped she was alright.

Two weeks and she still isn't back. And to top it all off, there is an akuma attack...

Where is Ladybug?! "GAH!!" Chat Noir yelped as he rolled out of the way. How am I going to defeat this akuma without Ladybug to purify it? He wondered as he leapt up to avoid getting smashed by a bus.

"Ch-Chat Noir! D-d-duck!!!" He hears a weak voice call. He knows that voice.

"My Lady?! Are you ok??!! You don't sound to good!!!" He turned to look at her. She was shivering and sweating with a very prominent flush across her cheeks. Sure signs of a fever. "My Lady! You shouldn't be out here if your so ill! It will only make you worse!" He says worriedly.

"I'm fi-" she broke off coughing and stumbling into Chat. "I'm fine Chat. I promise." She slurs in a whisper.

"Your not fine. You are going home right this minute!" He scolds her as he holds her shivering form close to his chest.

"N-no. I won't leave you here to deal with the akuma by yourself. I am going to find the akumatized object." She says, leaning closer to the warmth of his chest. "Your so-so warm..." she sighs into his shoulder.

"My-My Lady?! You're burning up! You need to go home! Please! I can handle this."

"No. The akuma..."

Chat Noir looked over at the super villain. Card Stacker. Hmmm... That's it! "My Lady! You stay here! I'm going to go break the item with the akuma, then you can purify it then you have to go home. Do you understand? You have to go home when your done."

Ladybug was silent for a little while.

"My Lady?"

"Wh-What? Sorry Chat. I zoned out. What did you-" she broke off coughing. "What did you say?"

"You have to go home after you purify the akuma. Understood?"

Ladybug nodded.

"Good." With that Chat went and destroyed the card with the akuma in it. "My Lady!" He shouted turning.

Ladybug nodded and swayed. "Time to de-evilize!" She nabbed the akuma. "No more evil doing for you little akuma." She set the purified butterfly free. "Bye bye little butterfly." She looked around and did a lucky charm. "Miraculous Ladybug!" She shouted throwing the pillow into the air. Then she fell over.

"MY LADY!" Chat shouted as he ran to her. God she's burning up! Wait what's happening? Is her- is she- because she-? He gasped. "M-Marinette?" He looked at the feverish girl in shock. It's been Marinette this whole time? How? How didn't I notice?! God, she's so sick. I have to take her home. He looked up when he heard a small noise. Her kwami. He realized.

"It's never hurt to become Ladybug before! Is it because she's so sick? Oh Marinette."

"You're her kwami." Chat says as he gently picks Marinette up. "What did you mean by it hurt?"

"Ummm... well... it kind of.. stings? And I feel hot and sweaty. Like when I got sick, only, worse."

"You were- you know what, never mind. Let's get her home."

"Right." Tikki nodded her agreement.
