A/N- another sad piece of fan fiction. A jeli story. A.K.A. Julia /Eli. Please review
He sunk down falling to her grave, the same place he had sat every night. He listened as the bells chimed signaling it was twelve o'clock .he stared down at the words engraved in the stone. Memorizing it as his fingertips kissed the piece of artwork.
Julia Kane
Beloved friend.
Faithful daughter.
1994-2009
He missed her terribly. Everything about her ….her soft brown hair that always looked like layers of dark chocolate .her big brown eyes that framed her face so perfectly. Home. Was all he ever thought, back when he could see into her eyes, read every emotion, red …her.
A sob escaped his thought; he stuck his hand out, reaching down to place thirteen red roses on her grave. She used to sit there for hours and hours, and go on about the beautiful color, and such lovely smell.
"Thirteen." She had once said. "I want thirteen roses on my wedding day."
Since the day she died in that horrible accident, he had brought her roses. Thirteen to be exact. He lay there remembering everything. Remembering her.
That lovely shade of pinks that adorned her cheeks when he would say sweet and corny. That brilliant smile that lit up the world. She loved to smile. She had told him so. " I love to show off my teeth." Had been the words that left her lips.
As the time went on more tears fell, a tear for every second, every minute, every hour. The bell rang again. "One o'clock." he thought.
He sat up his hair disheveled. Tears still falling and blood shot eyes, almost as red as the roses that lay on her grave.
" Goodbye Julia." he whispered.
As he walked away the only thought in his head was Julia, kike every other day. But in this moment it was stronger more …powerful. And what came over him he couldn't help. He ran back to her grave every word she had ever said going through his head.
"Julia Kane pleased to meet you."
"A-a date?"
" That was so much fun!"
" I love you Eli …"
"Forever and ever and ever."
" I promise you, forever remember?"
He broke down in front of her grave. Unzipping his backpack quickly he pulled out the gun, his father had on he told him to use for hunting.
" Forever and ever." he whispered placing the gun to his head, he pulled the trigger. He was set free, free from all the pain that had consumed of him the last few months as he slipped away into the darkness her words rang through his head like the bells on a wind chime once again.
" I promise you, forever remember?"
