Two cloaked and hooded figures sat on a leather couch in a darkened room. Both were women, graceful and proud. But they were different. One was tall and slim with long blonde hair and delicate features, almost like a vela. The other had long black hair and eyes that were sunken in. She was shorter and curvier but by no means fat or even stout. The blonde could have been said to be the more beautiful as the dark haired woman looked worn and tired; as though she had seen many great battles. But the dark was still beautiful, a dangerous beauty though. The blonde was fidgeting with her hands and appeared nervous but the dark haired was calm and collected.

"Cissy, stop fidgeting." The dark haired woman commanded.

The blonde, Cissy, stopped immediately. "I'm sorry Bella. It's just it is so late and I really have to be up early."

"We'll find out soon Cissy." Bella said, sighing slightly as though weary of the night.

"I know."

Bella let her head fall forwards slightly but just as she did there was a loud crack and she dropped to her knees. Cissy stood up and inclined her head slightly but made no move to bow as her sister had done.

"My Lord." Bella whimpered kissing the hem of a dark robe. She looked up and two blood red eyes met her own dark blue ones and she almost smiled.

"Bellatrix, Narcissa, how charming." The man said inclining his head slightly towards the latter and helping Bella from the floor.

"We thought you were not coming my Lord." Cissy said sharply.

"Hoped more like." The man said and looked at her. "I believe you know why I am here Narcissa. I have a job for your son."

Cissy paled slightly but did not flinch. Bellatrix looked as though she were about to explode with glee. Cissy made no move to speak so her sister took up the honour.

"We're honoured my Lord that Draco will be able to prove his worth." Bella said sneering at her younger sister. Cissy sneered back.

"Lucius would be proud." Cissy muttered mainly to herself as though reassuring herself.

"His task is to kill that old fool, Dumbledore. Too long has he evaded me." The man said ignoring both sisters.

Both women gasped. "Surely it can't be done." Bella said although she didn't sound too bothered about the fact her nephew might fail although she knew the consequence.

"It can be and will be or I will be most angry with Draco." The Dark Lord threatened.

He stared directly at Cissy as he said this almost warning her. She nodded although no question had been asked and her sister placed a hand protectively on her shoulder.

"It will be done my Lord." Bella said.

"He will need help of course, I expect you to train the boy Bella." The man said.

Bella smiled and kissed her left forearm. "I will my Lord."

"One other thing, this is a secret. It does not go beyond this room." He bowed and there was another crack and he was gone leaving the sisters alone in the darkness once more. Cissy fell to her knees sobbing unable to contain herself any longer. Bellatrix cackled slightly but fell to her sister's side and rocked her gently.

"You should be proud Cissy, Lucius would be." She crooned.

"How do you know what Lucius would want?" Cissy cried between sobs.

"Don't worry. No harm will come to Draco while we are here. It would not do for the Black blood to die out."

"My son, my only son, my Draco." Cissy said but her sobs subsided slightly. "I must be strong for him and for Lucius."

"Yes." Bella said and the two women resumed their positions on the sofa as though nothing had happened. But there was a sense of despair in the air and the blonde had returned to fidgeting while the dark haired woman sighed and shuffled.
