It was my 1st day of school in a new school and I was nervous. You see I'm from Destiny Islands, CA and now I'm being moved to New York City, NY. So I beg my mom to let me stay home a couple of days, but she says no. I walk in and am walking to homeroom and a red-headed boy runs in to me. "Sorry… wait are you new?" I nod. He sticks out his hand and says "I'm Axel". Got it memorized? I respond "I'm Aya". The black haired boy next Axel walks up behind me, puts his arms around me and says "how 'bout you and me sometime?" Axel laughs and says "don't listen to him. He's our playboy. His name is Cloud." The spiky blonde next to Cloud flashes me a huge smile that reminds me of a puppy and says "I'm Sora. And the other two are Riku, the silver haired one and Squall, the brunette. But don't expect Riku to talk. He's really quiet. " Squall shakes my hand and asks me to call him Leon. Riku just waves. Axel asks me what room I have for home room. I tell him 221. He tells me that they all have that homeroom except for Sora who is in 211. We get to homeroom and tell Sora goodbye. Cloud asks to see my schedule. I show it to him and he says I have classes with all of them at some point. I find out that I have study hall with Riku. The bell rings and Riku and I travel to room 333. As we're walking he asks where I'm from. I tell him Cali. "Sun kissed babe huh?" "So now I'm a babe?" He blushes. He tells me that he always wanted to go to CA. I ask him if he wants to come home with me after school sometime. He says he can't. I ask him why. He says his dad won't let him. And all of a sudden a beeping noise interrupts us. Someone yells FIRE!! at the top of their lungs. I faint and Riku yells my name and picks me up and carries me out of the school. He lays me down and checks my pulse and doesn't find a pulse. So he starts doing CPR and mouth–to–mouth. I wake up and we get carried away. The teacher comes over and tells us we can go back in and we go in to study hall silently. The bell rings and Riku and I walk out and I blush. He asks me if I am mad at him and I say no just confused. We walk to choir and Axel walks in and asks if we know what happened. We tell him a burner lit gas. I told Axel that Riku carried me out and Riku blushed. Axel asks if I'm ok. I say I'm fine. They walk away as I walk up to Ms. Cortez and ask her what we are doing. When I walk back to them Cloud, Sora and Leon come in. Cloud gives me a hug like we've known each other forever. Sora is staring at something so we all look. Riku's face goes white and I ask him 'what's wrong?' He says it's his dad. 'Where? Oh my god'.' Axel says. 'Why is he here?' Riku shrugs. His father walks over and says "let's go son, your mom's in the hospital." Riku screams "what the hell did you do to her?!" His father says calmly "I did nothing to her she, fell down the stairs." Riku snaps and goes to hit his father, but Leon catches his hand and softly says" bad idea, not in school." Then Ms. Cortez walks up. "who are you and why are you here?"
