I am so bored, and you know bad things happen when I'm bored. I sat and thought of what to do for a while, I then moved on to watching L pile as much sugar in his cup as possible. A plan hatched in my head and I laughed quietly, but evilly, to myself.
Though it must not have been as quite as I though because the rest of the force were looking at me like I'd lost my mind…again.
"Light, you alright?" Asked my father from across the room.
I coughed quickly and responded. "Yeah, must have gotten something in my throat."
"You're up to a 45 chance of being Kira." L said quietly.
We all seat dropped and continued with our business.
All the lights were out and no one was downstairs. Even the amazing l had to sleep sometime. I grinned at the silence and ran over the plan in my head once more.
I made the quick trade and got out as fast as I came. Snickering to myself the whole way.
the next morning
I sat at my designated desk and watched L do his morning routine of loading a cup of coffee with sugar and creamer. He pulled the cup to his lips and took a large gulp.
His nose wrinkled and the corners of his mouth turned down as he promptly spat out the contents of his mouth back into the mug.
"EEEEWWWWWIIIIEEE!!" he squealed, flailing his arms after he set down the cup.
"Ryuuzaki, what's wrong?" Watari was at his side in half a second.
"It's bitter." L's voice sounded something of a small child.
Watari sighed and took L's mug away to dup its contents.
Meanwhile, L examined his surroundings. He looked at the creamer, and source of coffee, then lastly the sugar shaker. After sniffing it, he decided to pour some out on his hand and taste it. His nose curled up as his tongue hit the off-white substance.
"Watari, what is this?"
He looked at it and came to a conclusion rather quickly.
"It is sugar substitute." He said calmly.
"Hmm…" he looked back at me. "Light, you're up to a 70 chance of you being Kira."
"What?!"
A/n: …lol!
