It was Saturday. 16-year-old Steven Universe and his 12-year-old sister Nora were going to Jurassic World, a dinosaur themed amusement park with real life dinosaurs. Nora was always so interested in paleontology and the study of dinosaurs that her parents, Rose and Greg, thought it would be a fantastic idea for them to go to Jurassic World.
Steven and Nora were getting in their car, but not before Steven said goodbye to his girlfriend, Connie.
"I hope you have a great time." She said.
"I sure hope so." Replied Steven.
"Steven, you're not going out to war here. Let's just get to the airport and we'll be on our way." Said Rose.
"Okay, mom." Said Steven. Steven and Nora got into the car and drove to the airport.
On board a massive boat that was headed for the island, which was known as Isla Nublar, Steven and Nora got off the boat with their bags and saw a woman holding a tablet with their names on the screen. They greeted the woman and followed her to the island hotel room. The woman's name was Peridot, and she was their aunt's assistant.
Meanwhile at a control room in a remote part of the island, a woman named Pearl was observing a habitat.
"How is the asset doing?" She asked.
"Just fine." A young man replied. The park CEO, whose name was Holly walked into the room.
"Let me see the asset." She said. Holly looked closely through the trees, and saw that the asset, which was a hybrid, was colored white, to which she said, "You never told me the hybrid was white."
"It also had a sister." Said Pearl.
"What happened to it?" Asked Holly.
Pearl paused for a moment before saying, "She ate it."
Back at the island hotel, Pearl went to say hi to Steven and Nora, who was her nephew and niece.
"Hey you two!" She said. She gave them both a massive hug. Then, she said, "Steven! Oh my god it's been so long. Last time I saw you, it was three or four years ago?"
"Seven years ago." Replied Steven.
"Oh." Said Pearl. "Well, I'll see you two around."
"Okay, then. See ya." Steven replied.
