Back to School
"Kagome Wait Up!" A Teenager Cried from a half a block down from where Kagome was standing. Kagome turned and watched as she flung her hundred pound backpack over her shoulder and started a slow jog up the street, with younger brother in tow. Kagome smile as her friend joined her side.
"Hey Sango long Week no See." Sango just stood by Kagome's side catching her breath, her brother standing next to her nose cramped into a noisy Game boy.
"Yeah Dad wanted to take a surprise trip for Spring break." They started walking again Sango pulling on her brothers backpack loop as a signal for him to start walking, which he obeyed without a glace up.
"Really! Where did you go?" Excitement spiked her voice as Sango face turned to despair.
"Great Aunt Musashi House." Sango held out her arm to catch her brother at the crosswalk glancing both ways before again pulling on his backpack loop to resume walking.
"That bad aye?" Kagome looked at her long time best friend with sympathy.
"Let's just say I have had better times at the doctors." Sango rolled her eyes "what about you Kagome what did you do all week long without me?" they small group stopped in front of the Elementary school Sango grabbing the Game boy and closing it.
"Hey!!" Sango younger brother protested grabbing for his game boy.
"Dad said you can't have it for school." Sango placed the handheld device into her own backpack. "Bye Kohaku" waving her brother off. With a huff he walked towards the buzzing sound of screaming school children. The girls started they're trek towards the local high school.
"Ahh Nothing Just hanging out with Sota and my mom. Playing a little bit here and there." Kagome smiled as they reached their destination, Sango looked her up and down.
"You are not telling me something." Sango placed her hands on her hips Kagome looked away from her friend.
"I don't know what you are talking about Sango." Kagome looked towards the School the normal groups had formed on the front lawns, Jocks, Cheerleaders, Rich kids, and the All annoying Inuyasha Takeshi. Who for no other better reason then self esteem has to have his own group. Sango watched as her friend eyed Inuyasha with distaste.
"You know very well what I am talking about. Did you find a warrior for a group?" The school bell rang And Kagome looked at her friend with a smile.
"I'll talk to you at lunch Sango bye" waving as she walked backwards to her first class
"Oh so you are going to be like that, Fine I will see you at lunch Kagome." Sango turned to go to her first class without even a wave back to Kagome. Smiling at her friends Distaste Kagome turned around running into Inuyasha who wasn't paying attention himself.
"Hey watch out!" Her face smashed into his hard chest. It hurt as much as running into a wall.
"Same to you Inuyasha." Heat filled into her flushed cheeks as she pushed herself off from his chest.
"You ran into me Kagome." His Pearly whites smiled at her Kagome just rolled her eyes and walked away.
'No use to fight with someone as arrogant as Inuyasha' she thought She could hear the roar of laughter from "Inuyasha group of dimwits" Kagome just kept walking to her first class but she already knew today wasn't going to be a good day.
