Monday, William Block's Office
William Block closed his eyes and tried to calm down. He was a rich businessman who had made his fortune through the stock market. He had a gorgeous wife, a teenage daughter, and a giant mansion full of flat screen TVs and servants. His life was perfect, right? If it was, then maybe the numbers on the screen were just a glitch. He refreshed the page. No, it wasn't a glitch. The stock market had just dropped 5 thousand points.
"No, this can't be happening…" he whispered. If what was on the screen was not a malfunction, then he had just gone from rich, respectable William Block to poor, pitiful William Block. All in about 2 seconds.
"Nooo…." he moaned, and then dialed his wife, Kendra, still in shock.
"What's wrong, honey?" she asked in a soothing voice.
"K-Kendra…..the market…m-my stocks….my fortune…" he stuttered.
"What? William, are you okay?"
"No, I am not okay! I just lost 5 million dollars!" he said, choking at the end.
"What?!" she gasped. "Not possible!"
"Go online and search the stock market, and you'll see for yourself! It just dropped 5 thousand points! That's the most in history!" He heard clicking, then a gasp.
"Oh, no…"

Oh yeah, I just made up that stock market stuff, I don't know if that would make him lose 5 million. Please review! Next chapter will have more Massie stuff in it.
