Author's Note: This is another story I wrote with another friend. danny-phantom13 . She's bolded and I'm italicized.
"OMG Alex, what are you wearing?!" cried my twin sister, Sam.
"Uh... Clothes?" I replied looking down at my faded, skinny jeans and white T-shirt with a picture of a microphone and electric guitar that read: ROCK ON! .
Sam rolled her eyes.
"You could at least wear something nice! I mean c'mon, it's our 13th birthday! We're teens now, I'll even let you borrow something from me. And you of all people know how rare it is when I share my clothing.."
"This isn't nice?! My jeans aren't ripped today!" I said pointing to my jeans. I walked to the mirror.
"I wish I had red hair..." I sighed. "But Molly would never let me die it..."
"OMG, Alex!" I said frightened.
"What now?!"
"Your hair!"
Alex swung back around and looked in the mirror. Her hair was turning a bright red.
"Sam, awesome! My hair is turning red!" Alex said.
"Um, um... I thinyou have a hat you can borrow? You castake it off... When we get to school."
"Girls! If you don't hurry up you'll be late to school!" Molly, our adoptive mother, shouted up the stairs.
"HURRY!" Alex said rushing me.
"Found it! Here." I said helping Alex tuck her hair into the hat. We ran down the stairs.
"Martin, can Alex and I have money for lunch?" I asked our adoptive father in my sweetest voice. Martin handed me $10 and I gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"Thanks!"
"Yeah, yeah." Martin said annoyed to loose money.
"Sam! The bus!" Alex exclaimed.
The two of us grabbed our bags and ran out the door.
"STOP!" I yelled after the bus and it came to a stop. "That was weird.." I told Alex.
Once we got on the bus, I took off the hat.
"Here." I thrust it at herald fixed my hair.
"Weird... It feels longer..." I said.
"What are you gonna do? Molly will kill !" Sam looked concerned. "I wish I could convince her! She won't even let me have feather extension!"
"Yeah... Some how I'll have to make my hair turn black again. But, not now, I like it red!"
"Not again! Alex, there's a feather growing from your head!"
"AWESOME! It looks great!"
"Someway, somehow, you're gonna have to figure out how to get rid of... All this!" I advised Alex.
"Meh.." I said. "I like it."
The bus pulled into the parking lot and we ran into the school building.
