Andalite are sent

Hetlep-Semitur-Temon stood in his quarters on the Andalite Home World. The son of the Abomination had received word that the Dome ship had crashed and only one Andalite was on the surface.

< Hetlep, > a voice called out.

< Come in, > the Andalite said. < Do you have news from Earth. >

< Yes, > the Andalite said. Alloran recognized the thought-speech of Edgerinn-Jamsrow-Hem, his aide.

Hetlep's duty was to order who goes to Earth. He had been assigned the job one Earth year ago. He hated the regulations of when to know all about Earth and how long things have been not only in years but also in the years from Earth.

< What's the report? > Hetlep asked his aide casually.

< There are more on Earth, more morph capable beings, > Edgerrin said.

< What are you a Yeerk? > Hetlep asked. < Just say Andalites. >

Edgerinn feared this. Not knowing how his boss would react. < No sir, they are not Andalites. They are the race native to that planet. Humans, as they are called. >

< Humans have invented morphing!? We have no need to send more if they can fight. >

< No sir, they are only a level six civilization. They were given the power to morph. >

Hetlep boomed at him. < Who broke Seerow's Kindness?! They will be punished greatly! >

< It was Prince Elfagnor-Sirinal-Shamtul. He died in the hands of Visser Three althoguh his brother is the one alive. Aximilli, his brother, said that he gave it to them because they were helpless and would not let Earth fall as the Hork-Bajir did. >

Hetlep was still in his sudden rage.

< Your order, sir? > Edgerinn asked. < Who should we send? >

Hetlep perked up at this. < A very small band, > he told his aide. < Group 47832-A. >

47832-A? There was no way they could send them.it. They only sent them to the Yeerk controlled worlds.

< Sir, Earth is not lost. There is still hope. If we send... >

< I am aware, > Hetlap told him. < If Elfangor can't be punished Earth will. That's who we will send. It is final. >

< That would be against Andalite law,> Edgerinn said still in amazement that his boss would do this.

< My father set off a quantum virus on the Hork-Bajir when they were almost lost. We will send 47832-A and it's final. >

< There is hope! > Edgerinn even suprised himself by nearly screaming. < You can't do this! >

The last thing he saw before he woke up was a turned tail blade coming for his head.

Author's Note: This was supposed to be after book 8 when the head Andalite sends the squad for teh biological warfare test. It's jsut what I think that he sent them without asking anyone. And Edgerinn didn't die, he was knocked unconcious. E-mail me at
