Couch Mutant Potatoes
"Seriously guys, is that all you guys do? Watch TV when it's so beautiful out! I mean, really! You could be out getting fresh air, helping me or Peter with the yard work, hanging up the tree, there's plenty more than watching TV." Jean said as Scott, Kurt, Logan, Bobby, Rogue, and Lance were glued to the couch, eyes drawn on the TV
"Do you mind?!" The X-Gang hissed in annoyance, not noticing the sly grin on Jean's face
"Hey guys, wanna see something awesome?" Jean asked in a musical tone
"Not now, we're watching TV!" The X-gang hissed before lowering further on the couch
"Changing channels, changing channels." The guys droned as Jean started to get energetic
"Everywhere around the corner, there's a lot going on; so come on, get up and moving, come on; get up and feel the beat." Jean sang, flying around trying desperately to get their attention, but to no avail
"Isn't this neat? Just sitting here, feeling great." Kitty droned
"They're just sitting there like couch potatoes. Maybe this oughta mix it up." Jean grinned, pulling out her electric guitar
"Just sitting here, finding something to watch." The guys moaned before repeating the chorus "Changing channels, changing channels" while Jean strummed on her electric guitar to at least get some energy
"Everywhere around the corner, there's a lot going on; so come on; get up and moving, come on; get up and feel the beat" Jean rocked and to her delight, Scott and Remy joined in "That's it boys! Now you got it!" She cheered, strumming again
"Come on gang, rock with it!" Scott cheered as Rogue and the rest got off the couch
"Yeah! Now you're talking!" Jean cheered, repeating the chorus "Come on, get up and moving; come on, there's a lot more to do. Come on, get up and feel the beat" before turning to the X-Gang "C'mon guys, sing it!" She crooned, blasting it out with the guitar
"Come on; get up and moving, come on; there's so much more to do; come on, get up and feel the beat!" All sang dramatically as Jean strummed one large note
"Wow! I think we needed that! Whoo! That was awesome! Which one wants to use the guitar next!" Scott laughed, amused and thrilled by Jean's performance
"I got to admit, Jean does have one heck of a rock talent. No pun intended." Lance joked, stretching his back out after sitting on the couch
"I can't believe it: We've been glued to the tube for hours, and I just can't believe that I just got up after all of that." Rogue remarked, astonished at the new energy flowing
"C'mon Jean! Encore! Encore!" Logan hollered
"Now how do you…" Jean started before throbbing the guitar "Ah there it is." She smiled as the gang joined in the chorus
"Now this is what I call a healthy workout!" Warren cheered, dancing to the beat
