AN- Ok so I know that it's been about a year since I updated Heart of Flames, gomenasai! I was working on chapter 11 when word crashed and I lost about half of it, I tried to rewrite it several times but it never seemed as good as what I'd written originally. At some point I will get it done but not quite yet.
On a better note I had a new idea for a story, although it's not as dramatic as Heart of Flames I still think it's a good enough idea for me to write it.
Unfortunately I don't own kyo kara maoh
*IMPORTANT*A bit of background - I know that when Yuuri and the others went to Earth for the forbidden box they had help from his family, but for the sake of this story please just imagine that Conrad told them about Bob and Dr Rodriguez then Murata mentioned that he knew the Dr and so they got the box without the Shibuya family ever being involved. Also Shori never went to Shin Makoku with them either and Bob didn't tell him about anything that had happened. basically the Shibuyas are all still in the dark about Yuuri's other life.
Shibuya Miko, otherwise known as Jennifer, was in the kitchen making curry. She was a firm believer that a mothers signature curry made your children come back to your dinner table safely. Needless to say the Shibuya family had eaten curry a lot recently, ever since that day.
Just as the curry was ready to be served, a knock came on the front door. Overcome with excitement Jennifer ran to the door before either of the men sitting at the table could so much as move.
"Yu-chan! Yu-chan! Thank goodness you're finally...oh" Jennifer trailed of when she saw who was outside the house. "It's you."
Shibuya Shoma, who had followed after his wife was just as surprised by their visitor. "Weller-san."
"Call me Conrart, please," the man now known as Conrart Weller spoke with a kind smile to the shocked couple.
"Yuuri...Yuuris not here if that's what you want. He went missing three weeks ago and the police can't find anything. Either way I don't think it's right for you to just show up here out of the blue to take him away!" Shoma started of nervously and ended on an angrier note, when Yuuri was found there was no way he let his son be taken away again straight away.
"That's not exactly why I'm here Shibuya-san. Your presence has been requested in Shin Makoku, your wife and elder son too of course." Conrart still had the same unfaltering smile on his face.
Jennifer, who had stayed silent so far interjected, " As much as I want to see a world full of demons, we can't just up and leave, what if Yu-chan comes back." The woman was clearly worried for her son.
"Not to worry Shibuya-San, the Mazoku who will be transporting us is the most powerful magic user our world has seen. He can quite easily make it so only a few seconds will pass in this world while you are gone."
Shori, who was standing a ways back from his parents looked at the Mazoku man suspiciously, there was something in his eyes and behind that smile that said he knew more than he let on.
His parents noticed no such thing however, nor did they question why they had been summoned to Shin Makoku and so 10 minutes later, four people were being sucked through a bath tub into a fountain in the middle of a stone courtyard. Before them stood a man with black hair and eyes that had slit pupils and he was surrounded by a blue glow. The man looked very familiar to the dripping Shibuya family.
I have yet to decide how far to take this, I'm sure I'll find a natural cut off point as I write so we'll all just have to wait and see!
