Summary: "Boom, D'Anna"
Note: I shot up in bed last night with two revelations. One was 'hey, what if Carolanne was the Final Cylon? I wrote that down and went to bed. Five minutes later, THIS hit me. Its a joke for AdamaRoslin members based on that Discovery Channel commercial where they go "I love the whole world...". Instead of Boom Diada, we say Boom D'Anna. ;;; I'd link it, but the tags button on LJ seems to hate me.
Also funny is that all of this hit me right after I turned 21 last night LOL. Birthday gift from my muse!
...there is something loose in my skull, I think.
D'Anna Biers had come to a conclusion.
Alone on her Basestar, her brothers and sisters all upon the Earth, she made a terrible decision. Her eyes traveled behind her to where a few Dorals waited patiently for her. She hated his model, to be honest, but the others had abandoned her for some false promise by Roslin saying that they were welcome to live with them. Even the Twos believed her.
"She has changed. How can we think her a liar when she loves a man who stands beside one of the Final Five and calls him brother?" One Two had said. He'd then taken the rest of them to the new colony on a barely-damaged island in a southern sea. To Roslin, who had smiled as she gripped her new husband's hand. The sight of the new Mrs. Adama made D'Anna's blood boil.
But she would fix that. Because the Twelfth was here.
"Hello, Admiral." She said without turning around," I see you've come to your senses. Too bad our brothers and sisters have not. That wife of your is troublesome."
"Half the fun of being married to her. She has a mean right hook." He said, coming to stand beside her.
"I'm sorry your 'fun' has to end. I'm going to see them all dead. Our people deserve better. You of all people knew that. Its where that speech of yours came from so long ago. You knew even before I did that they didn't deserve to live at all."
He backed away from her with a heavy sigh. She knew this would be hard for him outside the temple on Kobol. There he had spoken to her, telling her that the sinful would perish. And apparently all but two hundred Cylons were to die along with their arrogant creators.
"It's time, Twelve." She said without looking back.
"It is." Two voices replied. Startled, D'Anna paled once she recognized the second voice syncing perfectly with that of Adama. She turned, slowly, then quickened at the sound of a gun safety being disengaged.
"Laura Adama..." She breathed, eyes following an invisible line between green and blue.
"You are the sinful. You and the main Cylon fleet." They spoke, again in a perfect melody. She looked between them again, confused.
"I spoke the truth." Adama said, his hand joining his wife's over the loaded gun.
And then it hit her. Twelve...
"How can this be?" She demanded, panic swelling in her heart. What their words, their syncing, could mean, her mind could not accept it.
Adama said nothing, merely moving to stand behind his wife and wrapping both arms around her. He placed his chin on top of her head. And then she saw it.
The glowing form of the Twelfth and Final Cylon. His form, she'd thought, was merely him leaning towards her, robes billowing out before him. But it wasn't that at all...
"You...were holding her. You're both the Twelfth."
"Two parts to a whole.." Laura said.
"I wondered.,"Adama said," why I loved her so soon. She was always a part of me, and her return...she is my other half in more ways than one."
"So you're bomb..." They said as one," is going to happen. Just not as you assumed. You will not hurt our new people."
Twelve smiled at each other, then leveled the gun at D'Anna's head.
"Boom, D'Anna."
