Wes's POV:

Midnight, Silver City.

Why did you leave Jen? I thought as I stared out the window.

There were nights when the wind was so cold
That my body froze in bed
If I just listened to it
Right outside my window

And then it came to. As it always did. She lived 1000 years in the future. I was long dead where she is, and she's not even born in my time. I'm such a stubborn . I know the answer, but I keep denying it. Hoping that she'll jump into my arms and stay with me forever.

There were days when the sun was so cruel
That all the turned to dust
And I just knew my eyes were drying up forever.
