"Mmm," said Sam. "These escargot burritos are great!" "Hm? Oh, yeah," said Luna, with a faraway look in her eyes. The two girls were on a date at Jean Juan's, but Luna had seemed absent minded most of the time. "What's the matter, Lunes? Is something bothering you?" "I-It's nothing. I'm fine." "Here, let me make you feel better," said Sam, learning in for a kiss. Luna backed away. "I have a cold, bruh," she said. "Bogus, dude," said Sam. "I hope you feel better soon." "Thanks, Sam..." Luna's phone beeped. It was a notification from The Spin Cycle, a record store where she used to work. "Mick Swagger records 25% off this weekend!" it said. Not that it mattered to Luna, who had all of them already. "What's it say?" asked the blonde. Luna had an idea. "It's my sister, Luan. I have to go now, bruh, something happened at home. See ya," said Luna, and she left some money on the table, got up, and hurriedly left the building. "...Bye, I guess?" said a confused Sam, to nobody in particular.

Luna slunk into her bedroom. "Hi, Luna!" said Luan. The younger girl noticed her sister's dejected expression. "I know you said you wanted to 'get down' and party, but I didn't think you'd get THAT down!" She giggled. "Seriously, though, what's wrong?" She gasped. "Did you and Sam break up?!" "No," said Luna. "Well, that's a relief," said Luan. "You looked pretty... broken up!" She burst out laughing, but topped as soon as she saw Luna's irritated glare. "Sorry, Luna. I can't help it," she sighed. Luna didn't lash out at her; as Luan's closest friend and sibling, she knew that Luan was just trying to lighten the mood, as insensitive as she seemed. "I... I'm not sure I like Sam anymore," confessed the rocker. "What? Why not? Did you guys fight?" "No, dude. I still like her as a friend, but I don't really feel attracted to her anymore." "Is there someone else?" "What? No... I'm not sure why I feel this way, bruh." "Maybe you should try talking to Mom or one of our sisters. Maybe they'll know what to do." "That's a great idea!" Luna ran to Lori and Leni's room.
